I went to reply to one of the previous posts and it came up saying its been more than 120 days suggested started a new topic. Again, as you're aware, I'm a Noob here and new to the Ecoboost in general.
In my area, the highest octane gas you can regularly find is 91. I've only used Chevron 91 in my car ever but I've also been using the Royal Purple Max Boost with each tank.
I had found some articles online saying that is towards the top of the ratings and it is readily available to me.
My car has been performing great in general (only 1600 miles so far) and I figured that extra step allows my engine to run better and cleaner. Also, by doing this I was hoping that I could run a 93 octane tune when I buy my tuner.
Looking for input, please attack at will!
