Well, after driving to NY, picked up a modded out, low miles very nice SHO. Absolutely love it so far, this car is ridiculous.

So far already did the PTU fluid change, (53k miles, wasn't as bad as some I've seen) and the GD TPMS sensors. (Hate those things.)

Full mod's list from what I know about the vehicle so far:

Stage 3 Snow Performance Methanol Injection
(2) SCT X4 with Unleashed Tuning Maps (Methanol, Non-Meth, 93 Octane, Cat-less Down-pipes)
3 Bar Map Sensor (for Unleashed tune)
MSD Ignition Coils with 1 Step Colder Sparkplugs
170 Degree Colder Thermostat
EcoPowerParts Hot Pipes (powder coated with methanol nozzles and Tial-Q BOV)
Stage 3 Motorsports Catless Downpipes (with installed 02 sensor separators)
3 Inch Custom Cat-Back Exhaust
JLT Oil Separator/Catch Can
H&R Sport Springs (Lowered)
K&N CAI
Drilled and Slotted (Front and Rear) Rotors with EBC Brake Pads

Summer Wheels:
Ferrada FR4 Wheels - 20 x 9.5" Front (35 Offset) and 20 x 10.5" Rear (38 Offset)
Rear Tires - 295/35ZR-20 Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105
Front Tires - 255/40ZR-20 Yokohama ADVAN Sport V105

Winter Wheel Setup:
Stock 19" Taurus SEL Wheels on Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 N-Spec Winter Tires

Nice man that thing should rip! Keep an eye on the condition of the meth pump...May want to look into replacing that every year or two and upgrading to an alky controls pump

Thanks. It's a '13, had 53k on it when I bought it, very clean for a northern car!

I'm almost scared to ask... how common is the issue? Just quits a lot? It does have a "low fluid" light for the pump. The controller is in the glove box tho, so I'm not always monitoring it.

Nice ride! You will enjoy all that stuff, I had most of it on my MKS. True about the pump, they dissolve when outside of the car and even inside with 100% they start to deteriorate. Just keep an eye on it and replace with what AJP suggested when the time comes.

Thanks man, it's a lot of fun so far. At the moment I'm just running regular "Boost Juice" 49% meth, I haven't gotten any 100% yet, but I'd try it at a track. The pump IS in the trunk, looks very clean, but I will keep an eye on it, I'm assuming if there's an issue the controller will have some sort of an alert? Or no?

Thanks man!

I'm glad you pointed that out....I've been wondering what the dyno numbers would look like. Was that with 100% meth? Great numbers!

Recalls? I think there was 1 left on mine I need to check.

Nice find! I think that might be William Proctors old car.. if it is.. it runs 11's.

EDIT: Nevermind.. his old one was black..

Now that you've joined our group, you should plan on joining us in Carlisle next year for the Ford Nationals. We have a great group of SHO owners (even though sometimes we MAY not be the most dignified group....)

Almost 12hrs for me, but I assure you, it's worth the drive.

Tons of fun and the group dynamics assures plenty of shenanigans to be had.

You shouldn't miss this chance to spend a few days with some really great guys and girls. And this group is darn knowledgeable about the SHO platform, so I bet you will pick up at least a few tips.

As well as picking up some affection along the way..... hahaha
