Overdue introduction

Hello, I've been poking around this forum for a while, and I've neglected to introduce myself. My name is Marcus, I'm a lineman from the West Texas town of Seminole. I bought my 2013 PP SHO a little over a month ago. I'm completely in love with this car! I first saw one about a year ago in a parking lot. After the, "What is that? They still make those?!" moment, I knew I had to have one. I get tons of compliments and it's a real joy to drive, but I'm sure you all know that. It's the family grocery getter, but I plan to add every mod possible, over time. I've already asked a few dumb questions, but I've learned a ton from the members here. I've been on a few other forums and this is, by far, the best one. The general attitude is very positive and encouraging, which is rare in forums. I hope I can, someday, contribute and help someone else out. Thanks

Welcome aboard the EBPF Linemonkey and due post some pics of your ride and glad to have you on board and BTW there is NO such thing as a dumb question in these parts of town and always feel free to ask any questions you may have. Z

Welcome to the community, Linemonkey,  and congrats on snagging a sleeper king LOL!  Thank you for your kind words, our membership has a pivotal role in making EBPF what is.  X2 on pics!

Welcome to the forum. Have you done all the basic up keep yet? Change the fluids. Plug gap
So far, just a full synthetic oil change and a drop in K&N filter. I bought a set of NGK plugs, but haven't installed them yet. Since they're a step colder, I thought I should probably wait till I install the tune to change them? I'm going to wait on the PTU change until I swap the downpipes. Since it'll all be done in my driveway, I don't want the hassle of pulling the downpipe any more than necessary. I attempted to drain the CAC but was unsuccessful. I don't think there's much crud in it at all. I have a catch can on order, just in case though. Man, I'm long winded lol

I would think the magic question would be how many miles on your SHO? ..personally changed all my fluids at roughly 30k on her from PTU,RDU,TRANS FLUSH,Coolant flush and brake system in order to keep her happy.  Z :)

It's got 70,000. Although it's in pristine condition, I'm going by the assumption that none of it has been done. My biggest concern is the PTU. It's under extended warranty but I'm going to do it asap
