looks great Im getting mine repaired from curb rash and powder coated gloss black. hes gonna have them for 10 days and 150 a wheel lol. ill post em up once i got them mounted on the vehics.
Had my CTS-V wheels powdercoated gloss black. they held up fantastic! no issues what so ever. I also paid $110 a wheel as they were chrome wheels i had coated.
If i didnt have a PP car i would deffinitly do it again!
How durable is the coating? I'm assuming pretty strong. I'm on the fence about it. New tires and powder coat the rims.... or just spend a few hundred more, get rims (and move to 20's), and then get new tires. Since tires seem to be cheaper for a 20" rim than a 19" rim.

Almost 2 months in on my powder coat job...not a rock chip in them. Holding up better than the paint job on the car in comparison. If getting it done, be sure to specify the importance of mounting the tires and not scratching them. Took me many stops and talks before I found a place I'd trust after discount tire messed them up and had to have buffed out.
I think you'll love them... My son PC'd his F150 4x4wheels black 4 years ago and is off road about 10-15% of his driving, plus it's a DD. They look like new.
This is something I have been wanting to do to the very same set of rims as the OP. However, the tires for the 19's are pretty expensive. Had to replace all four at once when I got mine last year.

I got the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2's from Tire rack for just over $200 each...great tire so far. Hook really well at the dragstrip and took the road course abuse pretty well.
