PPE Catless Down Pipe Install with Corsa Exhaust

I will be installing PPE Catless DownPipes this evening .
I already have the Corsa Catback system installed .

This is not a how to...

I will post pic's afterwards and a video / sound clip .

I don't know if any one has this combo of catless DownPipes and Corsa or not so hopefully this will give others something to consider as a full exhaust mod.

That's the setup I'm leaning toward. With the exception of catted DP's. I need cats to pass emissions in IL. Looking forward to the sound clip.

Does this mean no resonator or cats at all? This should sound pretty mean! I like it. I'll be very interested to hear a sound clip.

DJE took off the third cat and resonator when his catless pipes were installed... he disliked the sound so much he went back about a week later and had the resonator put back... 3.5EB 6 will act a little different than a big block 8 with straight pipes

bye bye sleeper lol

that's going to be LOUD !!

Interesting to see... 4DR developed the cutout I'm waiting on Paul to fab a jig for (Thanks FoMoCo)... 4DR says when it's open  (no exhaust pipe from just past catless DPs) it really isn't much louder... like I said... this engine is a bit different than what we're used to.

Yeah, the rasp w/o the resonator was unbearable.  I also put the third cat back in since they were still in one piece.  That took care of the smell.

First of all ... I need a bigger Floor Jack and Larger ( Taller ) Stands.

This would have been a lot easier  if the car was off the floor more .

It took a lot longer than I anticipated  .. mostly I guess cause I'm getting older and had to take quite a few breaks to get the KINKS out .

The hardest part of the whole install was getting hold of the upper  passenger side 02 sensor  to disconnect the plug  ... ROYAL  PITA ! !

Yes these are LOUD .. The exhaust note is deeper and more aggressive and I like it that way ... It seriously barks when you put your foot in it !

No drone  issues with this exhaust system  as I don't notice any at all  , maybe a little on the raspy side  for a sec or two when you punch it but it doesn't  bother me .

I'll add a few more comments later tomorrow on the install with a few observations .

I will get  a video clip with sound sometime later today and add it .

A few pics below

My SHO need an undercarriage Wash Badly !!

  NO Cats Or Resonators ...

Good job, that would suck on your back!
You got the new and improved jig set of downpipes, any issues with them going on?

Clearly see the changes Paul made after the fitment work... same question as 4DR about the fitment on install.  TIA

The DPs definitely give  mine a more aggressive exhaust note under throttle... which the Corsas likely augment.  Good pics!.  Hope your back is OK after all the work in the tight space.

Nice illustration of the job.  :thumb:

Yes, this is exactly why I asked. The sound clip for this should be interesting.

That's pretty loud.
It's quiet when off the gas :D but yeah, no mistaking the mods on this SHO!  Can you imagine running it with a cutout fulltime?  But the sound is very clean, very consistent :thumb:

While loud, it still sounds mean. As much as I like the sound, I could not do that to my neighbors LOL. But, nice work. And by looking at your license plate, thanks for your service.
