Pulled the trigger, '12 traded on a '13

On a whim, wife and I looked at a white '13 PP car last night.  I was very upfront with the sales manager about the '12.  I told them that the car was tuned and the new one would be too, and I wanted the complete exhaust and all mods on the '12 swapped over to the '13.  They agreed and 5.5 hours the car came home.  Goes back Monday for the swap to be done and they are giving me a loaner car.  So all good.

Will the mycal for the 12 work on the 13?

I'd go grab that strategy code so LME can get crackin on your new tune!

Nice to see a mod friendly dealer...

Congrats, beautiful color!

They gave me $18,000 for the '12.  The '12 had 45,300 on her and the '13 has just under 21,000.  With them doing the swaps, guess its a wash.  Yes already pulled the codes for new tune files and already received them, THANKS LIVERNOIS!  I have to reflash the '12 back to stock and wed swap out the 3 bar map sensor and load the new tune files.  The '13 is fully loaded, relearning all over.

Go to the Ford owners site and log in (or create an account) then look for updates and follow directions. I just updated mine. Looks like Siri hands free is added but I'm not an apple guy so not a big deal for me.

Windows will be tinted next year, starting to get to cold for them to do it.  I want there warranty on the tint, but they have a min outside for it to be covered.  No charge for the tunes for the '13,  basically they are updating all my mods from the '12 to the '13.

Congrats on the new acquisition, purchased mine new back on 8/13 and still love the car, make sure to get those recalls taken care of,and any advice you may need always feel free to ask and best of luck.  Z

Oh trust me I was telling the saleslady about any open recalls on the car.  I will be checking the rear valve cover for leaks in the plug wells and other TSB's.  It was VERY hard letting the saleslady do he sales pitch, cause I know way more about the car than she did.  Wife had to reel me in at times.

Congratulations on the new car.

My wife gave up on reeling me in and now just warns sales people when we car shop that I know more about the car we are looking at and cars in general than the sales person.
