Pulled the trigger

Finally ordered my LMS tune today, stage 3, 4, and 4+ 93 octane. Also ordered a set of NGK Iridium IX plugs (as suggested by a few fellow members), a 170 degree T stat, and a  K&N drop in filter. I also found a set of non chrome trim tail lights off a wrecked SEL for $220 shipped (my chrome is peeling and don't want to deal with it again). More mods to come and I will update as I go.

Awesome!

You'll enjoy each, for sure, & then you may be enticed to do more.....

Mod-itis is a difficult illness to avoid.

Cool.I'm going with almost identical mods. The only thing that was strange is when I called Livernois today to ask about sending my vehicle info in to receive the tunes he stated that there is only 2 tunes now,91 and 93 octane, not Stage 2,3,4,etc.

Great Brad!  You're gonna love the tune!  What color is your SHO? Can't wait to see the tails on it.

Bykr-Could the guy you talked to have thought you had a 13?

Not really confusing. Kind of makes sense.

Vendors, and their product offerings evolve over time.

I think the whole "stages" thing came about when LMS 1st began introducing different tune files back in late 2009, beginning of 2010 when clowns like Darreli, FirstSHO, myself, and a couple of other "pioneers" began monkeying around with the Eco platform.

I'm personally glad to hear that they may be in the process of eliminating all of that, and streamlining down to fewer offerings, and only focusing on the top two offerings.

I also agree with BPD's take. Although I will most likely end up running stage 4+ only, I wanted to compare it to the other tunes. Next on my list are Eibach pro kit, window tint, some visual customization care of plasti dip and a free weekend, and center gauge pod. I just have to CHOOSE the gauges. Not an easy task when I ONLY want Ford Racing gauges. I love the Ford Racing logo. My mustang had a big lit up one on my deck lid. Looked cool with the trunk open.

Tuxedo Black. I will post pics of the new tails. Personally I don't like a lot of chrome trim. I think Ford did a good job except the tails were just a little bit too much.

Great.  Can't wait to see how they look on black.  I agree.  Too much chrome with the tail light surrounds.

UPDATE:

Tail lights were a bust!  They were certainly NOT in 'like new' condition.  Sent them back with no issues. I'm out the shipping, but lesson learned. I'm gonna go with Tasca for the red surround tails. Will post pic of this someday.

FracaSHO... a decent detailer could polish off the chrome and make the lights look new... I loved the shine my guy put on mine!

Just a thought for when you get tire of looking.
