Can you do a run with the k&n drop in..? freshly oiled of course ;D
That was what I was leaning.

The MDesign is brand new. So I'm picking up new filter for the Windstorm and have yet to buy one for the stock box.

Figured that's a good variable to have under control.

Have you decided as to what order you will run them? Maybe stock, hurricane, then MD.

I'd like to get there early enough to do at least 2 runs each. Then flip the order for at least a single run each in the other direction.

There is someone else out there getting prepared to do stock box with stock filter, then K&N filter, old MDesign, new MDesign dyno testing shortly.

Something to consider for everyone using oxygenated fuel, especially E85 and meth guys......we have extra O2 courtesy of our fuel. That coupled with turbo may mean our air intake demand isn't as high.....my 12.66 was on the OEM setup....

CONGRATS RICH on the new best time buddy, those are some impressive 60' ,which tires were you running with.Z

I spent half the day cleaning her up,was long over due for cleaning, washed her up then while she was wet used a clay bar section at a time along with the hose, then applied some Malco wax and finished it off with some Malco glaze,to help retain the wax.Z

Spent this morning out at Phx International Raceway Driving NASCAR Race cars with my wife, youngest boy and daughter-in-law.  What a Blast!  Here's my son getting in his Nomex. Left click any pic to enlarge...

He and I in our cars... The deal was 1 hour classroom, 5 laps ride along training (had helmet 2-way radios)... the 8 laps alone in the same car... guidance from tower via radio... speeds to 150-170 mph!

My wife didn't want to drive... but I talked her into a ride along for 3 laps with a pro driver... Here she is climbing in.  She exited the car after the ride with a big smile ....and as a member of the 150mph club!.... Plus having gained a greater appreciation for the doors on our cars, LOL

If you get a chance you should do this!... The pro drivers said Talledega and Charlotte are big enough that you can go even faster!  Wide angle screaming by pit row....

Your SHO looks amazing as always, Z, quite the headturner!  I've only heard of Malco Brake-off, not the wax/glaze products?  How long have you been using them?

What is your advice, BiGMaC, for people who haven't driven in triple digits?  I assume you were solo on the track for your sessions, no other vehicles?  What do you have to watch for?
