Reaction time

Little brain lock here. If you shave time off reaction does that shave your 1/4 time ?  -  last night / .585 react, 12.7 @ 109 mph
Would my 1/4 time be 12.2 if I shaved .5 off reaction?

Last season I ran 12.9 with LMS 92 meth tune
Last night ran 12.9 to 12.7 with LMS 93 meth tune

Been hesitant to run the 93 tune because we only have 92 octain at the pumps here on oregon. But had to try it and see. I was hopping for under 12.5  93 tune seem to work just fine for me with 92 oct, if I could ever figure out how to use my nexus I sure would like to monitor knock

Sup than?  Not unhappy with 12's but thought with my mods and the LMS  93 v8 meth the car should be in the mid to low 12's

Seems about right to me....I thought I read most on here running 12.5-12.7 @ 109-110 on meth and 3 bar

Well there maybe a little more left on the table...were u brake boosting a bit at launch?..u should be able to get into the 1.80 range which should give u a .1-.2 on the ET

That's your issue right there. With your mods that could be alot lower I think.

Really should be below the 1.8 range IMO. Taking the .15 off the 60' should get you around .3 off the 1/4.

What tires, tire pressures?  Also, 92 might be fine for street, but still not be full on T the track.  How much fuel in the tank?  DA?

Yeah, where do you live?  Which track?

Times are all over the place.  Some are tune only running mid 12s.  Some are tune only running high 12's.  A couple meth guys are in the low 12 second club.

Your 60' should be 1.8 or less.  Adjust tire pressure and work on the launch/rpms.

Tire pressure doesn't matter...stay out of the water box and don't worry if the tires squeal for a bit...let the car eat i turned a 1.79 with 32 psi...you guys are all afraid of a little squeal

That's a great 60' on 32 psi AJ. Only way I've been able to consistently knock down my 60', pressure adjustment. Each time to the track I've went lower and each time I had better 60' times.

2 minute mark in this video shows the slight spin and sound to go with. Do I think this is a bad launch...no...but I think it could be slightly better.

Correction 1.76
Sorry to thread jack but I'm sure u are all dying to know
12.63 @ 110.43
Still have some quirks to work out and knock sensor was pulling a bit of timing so I'm going back to stock timing tables to flatten the knock sensor readings
But that's straight pump gas, stock plugs and stat

Thanks for the feedback
Sounds like I can get more out of her. Didn't put much effort into driving last night, my main thought was to see what the car does. Such a solid machine, just roll up stomp on it and you will be 12.8 ish every time consistently. I figure if it is that strong and consistant, all systems must be working up to snuff, now I can dial the driver in

Used to race and build sb Chevys "chained motor down and run 3500 stall converter) so this is slightly different animal that I'm still getting used to

12.5 k on the clock and stock goodyears

Sounds like for the next trip I should be looking at lanch rpms, staging depth, amount of fuel in tank, tire pressure

I just pulled off some great times last weekend.

26 front 27 rear (stock RSA'S)...barely trip that 2nd light...wiped tires clean after each run in the staging lanes...definitely avoid water box...remember to get that foot off the brake fast (noticed I wasn't doing this as well as I should've each run.

Good luck to ya

Rich

I apologize if i missed it but were you able to fully shutoff the advancetrack off by holding down the button for 5 seconds with car in drive and foot on the brake pedal considering you have a PP.Z
