Rear Sensor blocked message

As soon as it rains, light rain, will cause the message on my display saying rear sensor blocked. And what's annoying is that I don't even have a need to turn the wiper blades on. When I come outside to check the sensors, all 3 sensors on the bumper are dry. Has anyone else had a similar issue, any input, is my sensor going bad?

I've had that message come up a few times. It's always cleared after a restart.

If there's a connector back there, sometimes uplugging it, cleaning any pins and reconnecting (with electrical tape wrapped around the connector) will fix it.

After a restart the light goes off but comes on again after 5-10min. Of driving.

Where is the wiring, under the bumper? I'll look into doing that as I don't have much spare time to mess with the dealership.

Don't have access to the FSMs anymore, but in the Edge, after removing the rear bumper cover, you can access the individual sensors that can be plugged/unplugged.  The parking aid/reverse sensing system module is behind the rear LH trim panel, might be in the trunk for the SHO.
