Researching New Brakes

I'm looking at some new brakes (Rotors and Pads) for my 2011 SHO. Factory ones are starting to vibrate a lot when slowing down from high speeds and its getting old... fast.

I'm pretty sure i want to go with RED or YELLOW EBC brake pads, but i'm looking to see what you guys recommend for Rotors?

I don't take my SHO to the track, but I do enjoy an agressive drive every now and again. Plus the 5 o'clock rush hour traffic is bad with bumper to bumper fast stop and go.  I was looking around at the StopTech Slotted rotors, but i'm only finding the Slotted and Drilled. Should I be worried about the drilled rotors based on my driving style?

Thanks in advance!

from what i researched on a dd when i was looking about a year ago, the drilled over time could weaken rotor plus make a lot more noise. i've had ebc slotted w/ red pads on for over a year & like the setup very much. also the red portion of pad shows very little & if you wanted to be anal you could paint that portion with black calipher paint.

I have nothing but good things to say about EBC. There rotors are of very good cast iron, I've have mine for over 3yrs and very little rust on hat or vents. Most other rotor are literally rusting to pieces by now. And they non slotted rotors as well.

I have ebc slotted all the way around. I know i paid more but got from
ebcrotors.com to make sure that i got the right ones & they had stock. some of the places that deal in ebc are cheaper  but don't stock. chris is very knowledgeable about our sho, so when i bought mine i took into account that he had them.

OK, so I went to EBC website to check out their options, and I added ultimax rotors all around and red pads all around for a whopping $755.xx....... so I went to Amazon and typed in each model # and added the same things to my cart and I got a total of $568.xx..... on ECB website it says that those part #'s will fit my 2011 SHO, but when I go to Amazon, it says that it will not fit my car.  I was hoping someone could shed some light on the subject so I can hopefully save $200.00

^^^^^^ I was just going to post this!!!!! ^^^^^^^^^

Exactly.... if part #'s match..... there should be no reason they won't fit.... and we save $200.... seems like a no brainer. :-) Looks like I am going Shopping

Order placed.... I guess I can be the Guinea pig in this case and see if these things fit! :) haha. I sure hope so!

Just a heads up.

Here are the 2 different ebc red stuff pads

Top is non performance package

Bottom is performance package.

My 2010 did not have pp but the pp pads work just fine.

Please stay away from autoplicity!! Many bad reviews from this forum alone.
Auto anything is good to go, they will price match just about anyone.

Their estimated ship date is bs, so are all the great reviews about the customer service.
When I didn't receive my brakes for about a month I asked to cancel my order..... Took almost another month to get my money back. And that's with me getting  paypal involved. ....., you've been warned....stay far far away from  Autoplicity.

Are you sure there is no difference in the pads? The pistons still hit center of the pad?

It just seems that there is a clear difference in shape. On the other hand, I thought the pp only got a rotor upgrade.
