I Have a 3.5 Ecoboost MKS that i tuned with LMS just the 91 performance still 2 bar map. I'm going on a family road trip.  Would it be ok to leave the tune on there for the trip or should i return it to stock for the journey. the engine only has 4000 miles on it.  thanks

It will be fine. I drive my car 99% on the time on my unleashed 93 performance tune. I actually get better fuel mileage with the tune. I just took my SHO on a 6 hour round trip ride to cape cod. Car loaded to the gills with beach stuff and golf equipment. Still got 26/27mpg going 80 the entire way.

91 is no problem. 93 can sometimes be a problem depending on travel route.  But def leave tune on, and carry the 2 bar MAP + tuner with ya, JIC.

I never think of this since 93 is all over NH and Mass

Yeah california, colorado, arizona are 3 that come to mind re 91 being premium fuel.  May be others.  The way NY is going it might be next.

93 octane Fuel can be hard to come by,especially in the Mid-west!  Z

Why wouldn't you.  You use the tune around town and such.

I've taken probably 15k worth of 200+ mile road trips tuned.  My car is setup for 91.  I didn't want a 93 tune because that fuel isn't available locally here and I like to hit the open road a ton.

93 is hard to find around here, too. Of the 12 or so stations within 12 miles from my house, only 1 sells 93....and it's a Shitgo.
