RX install on Ford Raptor

Tuner Boost

Did a Raptor this weekend so this should cover all 6.0 (and the 5.0 is not much different):

Typical oil soaked intake manifold and throttle body:

Start with removing the dirty side (passenger side) line that connects from the valve cover to the intake manifold vacuum barb:

And the OEM oil fill cap will be replaced with the RX cleanside separator:

The cleanside separator will now be the point of entry for the fresh air that flushes and replaces the evacuated crankcase vapors.

We will run a "T" also to the drivers side for complete cross-flow evacuation:

and connect to the main air box providing filtered metered fresh air:

You will still retain the OEM line from the air box to the brake booster line as well:

Dirty side will now run directly from the passenger side valve cover to the center of the RX can so all crankcase vapors are run through the can:

And the outer fitting on the RX can will run to the Intake manifold vacuum barb. Here we have used a utility knife to carefully slit the hard plastic lines so the factory fittings can be used for a cleaner fit:

Mount is the same as the ecoboost:

And this requires popping the tab out that secures the hood release cable for room, and zip tie it to secure it:

I will be adding to this in the future to make these easier to follow.

Thanks all!

I will add a diagram for all as well.

So in summary, passenger side valve cover barb to the center of the RX can. Outer fitting of RX can to the vacuum port on the intake manifold.  That is it for the can. Then the cleanside separator (NOTE!  Off road breather or cleanside separator are sold separate! Ask Mike for info.) replaces the oil fill cap, and the cleanside line on the drivers side valve cover that did go directly to the air box on the drivers side.  You run a line from the cleanside separator to the port on the airbox that the OEM line did connect to, and also "T" a line from near the separator to the drivers side valve cover.

If using the "off road" breather, you simply cap the drivers side barb and the air box barb, but due to the MAF metered air entering we do NOT reccomend the off road for these. The ecoboost is SD so no MAF and works fine, but on a MAF equipped engine this will allow unmetered air in and mess up your fuel trims.
