SCT x3 tuner capability

Hey guys was looking for some advice on tuning 2011 SHO. I had purchased a SCT x3 tuner for my old 2008 fusion which I sold and returned back to stock. Then had  a lightning I kept the tuner for but never ended up tuning the truck. I was wondering now if I would be able to use the SCT x3 tuner for the SHO. I am not sure how that whole process goes I know someone would need to send the files and wipe whatever was on the tuner. Was looking for some suggestions or possibilities before I purchase another tuner if need be. Thanks!

I wouldve called a tuner or sct first....by the time u read through the replies on the forum of which half will be wrong u couldve been squared away by sct or tuner

Yeah, your best bet would probably be to contact Torrie with Unleashed

Yes, the X3 will work with the 2011 SHO.  Torrie might have an upgrade deal for the X4, if you want to go that route.

I have an x3 and mine did not work on my 2014 SHO, it cant even read the strategy. I plugged an x4 in to read strat, KHDL2H5 and apparently its not even in the SCT database so.... I asked Torrie about it and he actually put a ticket in with SCT to get that updated HEH

I have the same tuner on my 2011, no problems. Call Torrie he will make the SHO fly.
