Transmission was not well. I literally couldnt even give it half gas or the trans would just not shift.
Took it to Ford twice and they basically told me they didn't want to touch it because of my 3rd party warranty.
I've never left a bad review anywhere and I left a bad review for the dealer I took it to. Very disappointed.
They kept telling me it was spark plugs even though I told them I changed them out.
On top of that it needed shocks all around. It leaked coolant, and after driving it for awhile you could smell oil really badly.
It was a cool car but the problems with the trans just bothered me a lot.
I ended up trading it in to carmax for more than what I owed and got something that is better on gas and with more aftermarket availability.

The GTI was just all around a better car. Has all the options. 6speed. 2.0 direct injection turbo. With a stg2 tune it will be making 270whp and 300tq which isnt bad for this little car.

You and me both. However I am sure you know how much they cost around here. Hard to find one under 25k with low miles.
And I searched for them before I got the GTI and there was only 2 in the valley and they were ugly colors.
Oh well I am happy. Maybe in a few years I'll pick up an st if they are more available.
