service manual

I was wondering if anyone has had experiences with the service manuals that are selling on DVD's that you can find at some places.  I always get one for each vehicle I have as I find the others inadequate but, other then going to the dealer, am finding it hard to source one out for the '14 SHO that I picked up.  I've got one for the '11 I just traded in but I know there are going to be some differences between the two.

If you've had some good experience with them if you could let me know where you got them from I would greatly appreciate it!  I just don't want to take a chance with one of the ones from Ebay.

Being an old-timer, I love having paper manuals.  Not having infinite storage space, I use the manuals available on DVD via EBay, as long as I read the offering description carefully and check the seller's rep.  So far so good.

I'm the same way. There is something about flipping through pages that is calming. Lol. I haven't been able to find one though and thus why I'm resorting to the DVD's so I may give the ones on eBay a try but they all seem to tailor to all the ford vehicles for that year and not just the Taurus so I didn't know if it was as in depth as the actual service manual or not. Thanks for the insight though!

I bought one of those Service Manual DVD's on ebay, and its great! It's actually Fords service manual, the program and everything, and in my case, I ordered it and it covers all fords from 2010-2011, you just select your model.
