I too am part of the young crowd at 27. The first car I had that I started to play around with was my first '94 SHO. It had custom flowmaster exhaust, custom stereo stuff, and a few other things, lights, etc... I loved that car so much!

After that I had a '91 Eagle Talon TSI, that had a lot done to it... Shifter, exhaust, intake, turbo, and plenty more that I've forgotten...

Keep em coming guys, love hearing all the stories. Lots of automotive history to be shared. Just goes to show why this is the best forum I've ever been part of, True enthusiasts reside here  :thankyou:

mine was a 1970 mustang mach 1 with a 351W  4bbl heads, holley dbl pumper carb, had the motor balanced, some head work, 302 blue racer cam, hi stall converter, dual exhaust and a heavy foot ! was red and had all the bells and whistles of the era like louvres, chin spoiler, rear spoiler etc

then was a 1983 mustang gt, motor was done - fastest car I beat was a ss396 chevelle
had my 94 supercoupe tbird for a long time till got munched, replaced it with my 2013 SHO pp

also had:
1967 fairlane 289 auto
1964 falcon 2dr ht  tubbed - was a rolling chassis ,never got the motor/tranny in it
1968 2 fastback stangs 1 was a gt
1965 fastback 289
1977 f250 4x4 460 4 spd, 40 inch swampers, winch, lift etc

had lots more, but those are the nicer ones..

Was never into too much visual bling. But my first was a 1973 240Z. As I was preparing to rounding up needed parts, to drop in Ford 302 car was stolen. Broke my heart. To this day, car never recovered. So I that's partly why I still don't do too much visual bling. That being said;

My sleeper, 1967 Camaro RS/SS. Small block, TH350with shift kit, 10 bolt posi. Dyno,d with 400hp 400 lb wtq. Pix taken before I finished side molding install.

I am younger as well, at 32. My first car was a 1986 300zx that I loved, but never modded, it was n/a and auto. But fully loaded and ttops. Had a lot of fun in that car.
But mine was a 98 Mustang GT 'vert I got right out of high school.  I still own it, crystal white with black leather and top. Automatic.
Took me years to start fiddling with it.
But it ended up with heads/cams, side exit exhaust, Cobra hood and 94 Cobra spoiler, Saleen wheels, CDC light bar, etc etc.

It started my hp addiction for sure.

I've had a bunch but one of my fav's was a '67 Cougar. Had a 457 screw with 4 two barrels on a Man-A-Fre manifold attached to a 289. The Mickey Thompson "J's" would rub if the air shocks were not at max pressure.

Here are a couple of the other rides in chronological order:

'57 Chevy
'61 Old's bubble top
'56 Chevy
The Cougar (above)
'58 Ranchero
'68 Impalla
'66 442
'70 Boss 302
'64 Corvette conv
'70 Grand Prix type J
'68 Impalla
'67 Fire Bird conv
'68 Corvette conv
'70 Coiugar
'77 Jeep
Then came 18 trucks of various flavors (all Fords).
And now, the SHO.
Haven't yet figured out what will occupy this line yet ;-)

My first car was a 1996 Grand Prix SE.  Wimpy 3100, but looked good and got great mileage.  Kept me out of trouble in high school and got me through a bit of college.  Sold it to my dad when I moved out of the house for my brother to drive.  Only add on was Magnaflow axle-backs.  Still in the family, and still a nice little car.

First love though was what replaced the Prix, 2004 Bonneville GXP.  Again, virtually no mods available but I did install Magnaflow axle-backs, K&N drop in, and had a black/performance orange theme going on.  The thing sounded great.  Wish I would have kept the darn thing.  Definitely was a head turner cruising the loop in Sioux Falls.

^The 3100 was pretty potent for its time. Decent engine too.

On another note, GMs 3800 was an excellent engine. Great for longevity. My grandparents and my mom both clocked over 250K in their 94 Regals, with just mild maintenance. Solid.

Damn that was a solid mod list. How did the,3.29 work at the track for you. I had a dyno tune cutout wrapped crossover, intake, and flipped dogbone. Then i decided from watching what others where getting out of there mods if i wasnt gonno drop the coin for a tep trans and turbo kit it wasnt worth it. Especially in colorado where my best run was 15.10

The 3.29s made it really hard to not spin even with DRs . Once I put spring blockers that solved the issue . Best time was 13.1 @104 . By any chance did you have an account on LS1tech ?

Wow, I've barely had any vehicles compared to you guys!

About to hit 32 and i've owned a

1992 Ford Ranger 4.0V6 4x4
2003 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (first car I was serious with)
and the current, 2013 Explorer Sport.

I could cheat and count my wifes 2000 VW Jetta (hella slow), and then I convinced her to get something nice and she's now in a 2010 Audi A4 (even convinced her to tune it and now she loves it!)
