Shifting problem with my lms tune.

So I was driving all day with my new LMS tune in drive and the car was shifting fine. Before my tune when I used sport mode I wouldn't use the paddle shifters because it would shift by itself. When my brother tried the car in sport he ran it up to the red and it buried itself in the red, made some horrible sounds, then shifted. Does LMS change the shifting in sport mode or have I been doing it wrong? Also do you think that this could have caused permanent dammage?

What exact tune do you have? Also every tune reacts differntly in sport mode and give it some time for your car to adjust to the new tune, just like when you purchased your car new, break in period.

Car likes to go on the tune. Seems it shifts harder during the break in time and little throttle through the shift point gets harder shifts it seems to me.

Did you give your transmission time to learn?  I had that 1 or 2 times a while ago when I flashed a brand new tune then I never had it happen again.  If it happened more than 1 or 2 times I would call LMS.

I have the v8 pp 93 octane tune. No other mods. This wasn't a firm shift this was a failed shift that threw my engine up to 7000 rpm and made my tach needle start blinking red. It happened about 130 miles after flashing the tune.

Is s mode true manual mode now? Because every time I ever got up to the red and hit the paddle it double shifted (1st to 3rd).

Trying to protect itself that is (speculation)...wonder if the tune takes the auto shift out and then car didn't want to slam gear after so many rpms

Make sure the files Anthony or Brandon sent you are the same on the my cal device,if not you could have a corrupt file and need to email LMS about your issues your having, good luck.
