So this past weekend I went with some friends down to Clayton GA where they have an event every year called "Wannagofast". It is a private airplane community park that the owner shuts down for 2 days to let high end exotics, and really fast cars come and compete for the highest speed obtained in half a mile. (Top speed of the day was a twin turbo lambo putting out 1900hp to the wheels.... 219mph) anyways, Saturday was awesome, and then Sunday came.... a bunch of new cars showed up.... and sure enough there was a 2013 SHO non PP. I spoke to the driver and he said he was a member here... didn't get his name, or screen name.... all day Saturday I wanted so badly to race my car down this beautiful runway but wasn't on the roster, and didn't want to pay the $200 to run... so when I see an SHO pull up to the staging line, I was more than happy. So he takes off and puts down a 125 mph pass on his first run, and then ran a 124 mph pass the next time, and then finished with a 126 mph pass on the last one I saw. Elevation was about 5000 ft. And temps were in the upper 60s and low 70s. Super foggy, and damp. He said he wanted 130, but I don't think he ever got there.... I will be running mine with all my mods next year to see if I can crack the 130-135 mph mark. Here are some pics from the weekend.....
