Made it to the track last night for the first time this year.  Great night and disappointed at the same time.

1.8 60'
8.3 1/8
13.056 1/4 at 104

Did this twice in a row with nearly identical times accross the board.

Happy with the times but so close the 12's.


 
A cold night and that baby is in the 12's!!!!!  Shallow stage as well.....just flicker that second stage light so your barely in and it gives a few inches head start before you break the beams. Go in deep will result in a slower ET.
 
Sounds like a 3 bar map is in your future.  Do you have a 170/160 tstat already?  Plugs gapped to 0.030?  Torrie could get you easily into the 12s with these updates.
 
That was shallow staged.  Only mod is a tune.  I did just recently install SP534's gapped to .030


The good part is I raced a 2013 300c SRT8 - he ran best of 13.34
and a 2013 SS Camaro that ran a best of 14.58

so the competition became more and more interested in the ol Taurus as the night went on and they couldn't catch me.

Great job!  Congrats!

Like Manu, I have to recommend a 3BAR MAP.  It will take $52 for the sensor from Tasca Parts, 2 min to install and time to reflash the new tune.

With a 3BAR MAP and tune adjustment for it you'll easily pick up ~.3 to.4 seconds in the 1/4 and be right at 8 seconds for the 1/8th with a 0-60 in the very low 4's..... maybe even high 3's if you did downpipes to get the earlier turbo spooling...... Then they'll really be looking! "Family Car Fury!"
 
I think you were distracted by the gorgeous night view :D  I do hope it was the other guy scrubbing his tires at launch though!  Launch rpm?  Since you have a PP, I can't even say take the spare outta the trunk!  1/4 tank or less?
 
Great video,  love seeing a SHO take off like a rocket.  Don't know what the 3BAR does,  but people are well into the 12s with it recently.
 
That was me spinning.  Didn't have much affect on the time it seems. Was still pulling 1.8 60s.

Agree....get the 3 bar map.

I think the coolest part about these is the look on the face of a V8 muscle cars owner when you whup em!!
