So I stopped by Hennessey yesterday....

I'm a state employee so I had to go to Austin for a few days, and on my way back I stopped by Hennessey on my way back to Houston just to look around. I met with a sales associate he was super nice and he showed me around. Looked more like a GM car lot with probably 20 bran new vettes there waiting their mods and dyno time I'm sure. They also had 2 new Ferraris on lifts getting twin turbos, a Mclaren wirh the engine just reinstalled and of course I wanted to see a Venom (modified 1000hp Lotus) they were working on too. Probably 6-10 Ford Raptors getting Whipples, and one with a built Livernois stroker engine with Twin Turbo set up, a 700hp ZL1 camaro for sale, 1 Challenger, 1 new 5.0 Stang and 1 MKS getting the 440 package for $5k-$6k !! It's a pretty awesome facility with their own traks / drag strip next door. It's a car junkies dream playground. I loved those Raptors but the gas mileage would kill me !

On to the package deal....no new or future stuff planned for ecoboost

I hear nothing but bad things about Hennessey  I'd stay far far away from them.

They've had a lot of failures with the Ecoboost they've messed with and are really too expensive...you can get better, safer performance for less money...I would steer away from them.

It is so weird to hear people say this about Hennessy. I am not doubting it, it just seems so off they would put a product that is sub par.

I'm not doing business with them I mean why pay $5,600 for what my $500 LMS tune has done less a Corsa cat back. Just shared a random experience I had with them yesterday in person at their facility. I really stopped by becasue they were on my way home and I wanted to check out the facility which was really nice and to see if they heard / knew anything new with the ecoboost since they are so diverse with vehicles they work on.

right I don't know too many car nuts that would drive past it and not stick their head in the door to check it out. It was like a car enthusiats play ground. A very expensinve one
