Spark plugs for the 93 unleashed tune....what is the part number?

If you bought the NGK plugs from Unleashed, LTR7IX-11 (1 step colder) (or LTR6CI-11 (OEM heat range)).  Most likely you got the 7IX.

Motorcraft plugs should be SP534, doesn't matter what tune/level of tune you are running.  Most say that OEM gapping is 0.030, which is exactly what you would need in a tuned SHO.

The SP534 is an iridium plug and works just fine for me for the first 22k miles I've been tuned ... OEM on '13+ SHOS.  Don't trust FMC to gap them correctly for your tune or uniformly.

The Motorcraft SP534's are the exact replica of the NGK's.

They are just rebranded for Ford's use.

Don't flip the extra money for the NGK's, just order the SP534's & you'll be good to go.

I think I saw them selling online for as low as like $4 each.

These SP 534's that you speak of are one heat range colder than stock, right?

The SP 534 is stock plug the exact plug that NGK calls LTR6CI-11 stock #97177. It is NGK's best plug. It's double precious metal meaning it has iridium on the electrode and the ground strap. Which gives it the 100k service life compared to the single precious metal plugs such as the Iridium IX which is also a really good plug which NGK said is good for 40-50k.

I called NGK recently because I was contemplating changing my plugs. But there is a problem for me.

The stock replacement LTR6CI-11 is gapped by NGK at .032" and is stock heat range. They don't offer 1 or 2 step colder in the laser oem double iridium plug. The 6 designates the heat#, 7 would be 1 colder. the 11 is the gap designation.

If you want 1 step colder you downgrade to the LTR7IX-11 stock 6510. The problem is that plug is gapped by NGK at .044" and NGK told me they recommend only gapping down a maximum of .012" or you risk weakening the weld of the ground strap. Then maybe it breaks off in the cylinder. So that means that they only recommend gapping that plug down to .032"

So anyone running the LTR7IX-11 which is a recommended part for popular 3 bar tunes and gapped at .028"-.030" are running a little less than NGK recommends for that plug.

So if you want to gap down that far I'd run the stock plug but then it's not colder. Or you run the iridium IX line gapped down to a minimum of .032" and you can be colder but also have an inferior plug. But be careful when gapping down you don't go too far and have to go back up...You still over extended it in that case.

I use the Denso Iridium ITV22 -5340 with no problem.  They were actually gapped around  0.028 to 0.029 when received them this week, so I had to open them up a bit to 0.030

I don't see those guys listing SHO for those itv22 plugs, makes me wonder why.
It could be the fact that there all 4 cylinder engines on that platform.  Z

Yes, I wonder if they know something we speculate. Anyhow, I'm curious if anyone has any insights to If it would be recommended to run a stock tune on one step colder  plugs?

From what I was reading over at focusst world, the consensus is that is too cold for stock tune.

CROR1 IMHO the only thing i would be worried about is your stock plug gaps being scattered everywhere from the factory from 0.32-0.38,you can regap them at 0.32 for a peace of mind, think the 15 SHO calls for 0.30.  Z

That is the truth, I regapped the 2013 right around the time I tuned it and they were all over the place.
