It was pick on the mustang night... raced an 04 Cobra, coyote, 2.3 eco tuned, and a couple 5.0s (year before the coyotes).....

I did not loose to a single one all night long.. took out a couple camaro SS's for a snack...

I would say this is the best run of the night but... they were all within a few thousandths of each other... the loss was too a tubbed out Chevy S10...not a street car.

Still had wheel spin of the line a bit... I think my tires are just about shot... pretty close to the wear indicators...

I did... 23 all way around... I kept dropping the pressure because I kept spinning lol..

It has been over a Year since We have been to the Track, Cant Wait..... ;)

Thanks!!! It easily has 7's in it if I can get traction... I think my tires being at the wear indicators are not helping... at the 60ft mark my tires would break loose :-/

FWIW I did try to run Brads meth tune again... but I kept blowing the tires off the wheels no matter how I launched... not worth posting slips because once I started spinning the tires as hard as his tune does I backed off.... even with the Megan's which did help...

Nice times, little more playing with the Megans and better tires.  7.99 1/8 mile are doable.  Great job so far.
 
Interesting I see people's 1/4 mile slips and they are putting down mid to high 7's ETs at the 1/8th mile marker... are those derived from their 1/4 mile ET? Usually there are sensors along the track so those numbers should be accurate?

I swear Brads E20 tune that I have would put down faster times... I think I have exhausted the LMS tune with the exception of better tires... DA not included...


Not sure how much I can tweak the Megan's... the car is coming out of the hole flat... I have the rear dampener set to 1 and the front was set to 2....

Next time I go which depending on weather might be next Thursday I am gonna really try to hone in Brads tune... I need to talk to him about his meth tune.. I am just blowing all the tires off the line even without brake boosting.... could just be that I need to ease into the gas vs just standing on it... but with the fly by wire it's not as easy to do...

I am contemplating getting some PI wheels with some track tires.......

8.1 isn't bad when your still spinning off the line lol... I really think it's tires though...

Steal, I realize you are putting out way more power than many others but it seems that you have more wheel spin than most.  Makes me wonder if there is something not quite up to par in your AWD system.  Could it be that less power is being transferred to the rear than normal?

I have thought about this.... and it is a concern. I am unsure how to verify this? My guess would be that I would be able to smoke the tires if the AWD is not up to par? I know the AWD system is working, you can feel it when I drive. And when I a launch I feel it... but I do get some wheel spin... ideally I don't want any! I want it to squat, hook, and eat...

If I don't brake boost I don't get wheel spin... when I brake boost with the LMS tune I didn't get much wheel spin after the tires where warmed up and dropped to 23ish maybe a hair less all the way around?

I was hot lapping like a bitch though trying to keep the tires warm and IATs low lol...

Brads tune is a whole different beast... that just gets wheel spin even when I just stand on it... my buddy in the stands said I broke ALL four tires loose of the line with that tune... I.E. the rear went sideways as the fronts were squealing...

My guess is the AWD is working OK... but who knows...
