If you have the green coolant, you should be able to use Zerex G-05, as long as mine is the green coolant (haven't had a chance to check yet) that is what I will be using. Available on Amazon and Napa
Use what's already in there and keep it OEM as everyone has been saying.
Just for a stupid fun fact, I had to buy coolant for a fiat 500 we were servicing the other day for $45 specialty purple from the dealer. Stupid as hell
Thank you for the replies everyone. I was able to find a local dealership that had the Motorcraft Orange 50/50 mix. It was $13.50 including tax. I'll probably be doing the thermostat when I get back from vacation next week. Thanks for all of the opinions. I really didn't think that the dealerships would keep this stuff in stock.... but they did
When i did the Tstat, what little coolant i did lose, couldnt have been more that 2 quarts, the resevoir was down to about 1/4 full, I replaced with regular old H2O and ive had no problems since.
