Temporary Electrical Gremlins After Each New Tune

Between Unleashed and Livernois, and the revisions thereof, I'm on my 15th tune.

Being new to this game, I was a little spooked by some of the weird electrical quarks that occur after each tune.  All seem temporary.  I thought I would list a few here.  None were consistent after each tune, i.e. sometimes they occurred after a retune and sometimes not, and all were quickly remedied or went away on there own:

1.  Remote start not functioning.  Turned off through left-side menu and back on.  Worked then.
2.  Center MFT screen went black.  Cycled car off and back on and never returned.
3.  Navigation gave the "follow all laws" audio warning as if setting a destination, even though I was only adjusting the radio station.  Happened once and never came back.
4.  After started, car suddenly reports 'no key' is present, despite having both functioning remotes in the car.  Happens once and never returns.
5.  Got random DTCs after first few miles of driving.  Clear them and they don't come back.
6.  Radio continued to put out sound despite car off, radio off, screen black, etc.  Before I could get a wrench and unplug the battery, it turned off on own and never returned.

I'm sure others have experienced similiar, and I'd love to here what.  I'm sure someone will bless us with a "never had a problem" post -- good for them.

Perhaps the next "new guy" to the tuning game will be less frazzled.  I guess these things are giant computers, and sometimes a couple reboots fixes 'em up :)

Perhaps it's more frequent for you, and maybe even from the tunes.  But I'm stock, never tuned and I get some of those.

I have also received the 'no key' message.
BLIS not functioning warning lights

I too get occasional occurrences as you describe whether stock or tuned. Most persistent is forgetting the steering wheel height... So now I just reset that and hit the memory button when it happens.

Yea, the computer system is complex ... I think sometimes it just doesn't initialize correctly.

Before I flash the car, I turn off the automatic wipers, automatic headlights, climate system and audio system.  I have never had any strange behavior while tuning or afterward.  Nothing turns itself on, off or changes.  Maybe these things are dependent upon the year of car or strategy code.  :dunno:

Have you checked to see if your car has any pending updates?

Based on recommendations on this forum, I always turn off wipers, headlights, climate control, and radio before a retune also . . .

Except when right after a tune, none of these gremlins have appeared for me.  I do agree that, whether stock or right after a tune, the nature of any weird occurrences will depend on the strategy, year, etc.

My 2010 complains about my tire pressure after every tune, but then never mentions again until another tune.

2016 sho pp I've had the car say no key when I left the key in the drink holder but both keys were in the car maybe car is trying to decided what one to read. It didn't last long drove off and said it was ok.

I've had the no key detected alert happen in my Explorer Sport a few random times and it's completely stock, no tune.

Sometimes I think these cars have more technology than they even need....

I have had my share of "glitches"especially with the MFT screen going Dark by itself for a few seconds followed by the screen initialing maintenance mode and you gotta love those random Body codes which most of the time is no cause for alarm, think if one or more of the modules do not go to" sleep" after each driving cycle it will cause some erratic behavior between the system in conjunction with a low battery.  Z
