The view from my desk at work today.

Well as you can see.. there's no emblems on the truck.. still.. but today was PAINT TIME!

Before cleaning/painting the insert.

After.  I'm sure glad they were 2 piece.. lol

All the inserts done.

The outer trim and Ford emblem done. (Going to mask off the Ford emblem eventually and Xacto Knife the bezeled "FORD" letters and paint them like the inserts.. that or use vinyl for a Batman emblem to replace the one on my back glass.)

And the final turn out!

I'll end up putting them on the truck once I get it washed and such.  I don't want to put them back until it gets a good wax.  I may get that done this weekend.

So what do you all think?

Great idea to do the finish and FSP before replacing the badges... It'll be seamless.

Badges are still in the works.. got another plan for them.. but I tried out some plastidip...

So far, so good!  No glossifier, right?  How many coats?

Just a temp  minute throw on.. came out pretty good though.  I may strip them and do them the right way.. or just wait and get them powdered.
