Transmission fluid change at 93000?

I have had my 2010 SHO for 3 years and put about 30k on it since owning it. Not sure if previous owner ever did a change or not, would it be a good idea to change it now being that it is at 93k now? Any insight would be appreciated.

Any time before you start seeing debris in the fluid (and preferable before burnt fluid as well) is a good time.  Just avoid FLUSHing the fluid.  A fluid exchange or a 3x+ Drain/Fill should work just fine.

If there is debris in the fluid, you will want to consult with a transmission shop first.

So if the fluid is not burnt or contaminated with debris, just drain it completely and fill it three times? I just want to be sure before I do anything. Thank you for the input.

Just unhook the cooler return line and route it into a bucket.  Idle the car and fill through the dipstick tube.  This will get all of the fluid including what's in the torque converter in one session.  Its surprisingly easy.  You may need to get some extra hose and a little barb connector to extend your trans cooler line.

Interesting i like it! how did you determine when to stop adding new fluid? just til you reached full recommended capacity i suppose? Also, how quick are you able to hook the cooler return line back up once your done? I'm not familiar with the connection but i'd imagine your losing fluid while youre trying to hook it back up and need a top off after the line is connected still.
