Transmission Problems - Datalog attached

A few months ago my transmission started to flare in between the 1-2 & 2-3 shifts.
In the past few days it started to do the same thing on the 3-4 shift but now a flare with a bump.
Fluid has been drained and filled every 20k miles.
Tune has not been changed or modified.

Has anyone experienced this?  VSS and/or OSS problem?

Logfile and picture attached with part throttle driving.

TSS/OSS is definitely a viable suspect, especially if the flares are harsh.  But to be sure, I would send a fluid sample off to Blackstone labs for analysis.  If that turns out fine, then I would think about replacing these and possibly the valve body (at least cleaning it out).

I have found that the MAF sensor on my Edge can also contribute to the problem because it feeds into TCM shift logic.  I tried cleaning time after time, did not help.  Putting in a new one made a big difference.  So maybe you can try cleaning/replacing the MAP sensors.  Also check the throttle body, because the motor sometimes fails.

Other than that, there are TSBs for bumps/harsh shifts that you may want to look through, but since the problem seems to be progressing, I am definitely thinking TSS/OSS.

Update:

Trans shop wants to replace valve body for $1200 or total rebuild for $3700.

I think I will try to replace the OSS and VSS for under $100. :) :)

Has anyone on this forum done this or the valve body for the 6f55/6F50?

It is a time-consuming, but a very DIY-able process if you are patient & methodical.  First timers will usually take 7-8 hours to do it, tho the work can be done by a pro in 4-5.

Cant find directions to replace the valve body. Where can I find this?

I might as well do the VSS, OSS, and valve body while I am in there.

Ordered a Blackstone kit to see what shape it is in prior to this.

We are shooting in the dark right now, but it could very well be the TSS/OSS sensors AND or the valve body.  Does the fluid still look good?  If so, then I would proceed apace with the sensor replacement & valve body cleaning.

I remember from previous posts that you have had issues with the trans running at higher temps than expected.  Is this issue still current?  I don't know how you would test the cooler in place, but that might be worth a look also.  could be defective or clogged.
