Turbo Studs Coming out trying to swap Downpipes

Anyone ever have the studs want to come out instead of the nuts coming off.  I am working on the "front" and all three nuts are bringing the studs with them to a certain point and then nothing moves anymore.

Anyone run into this?  I am thinking I may need an air ratchet and drive everything out and put new studs in?

I'd use an impact. Tighten then loosen. Repeat till the nut moves. That's the only way that works for me when I work on exhaust hardware. Lots of PB lube as well.

Not on the SHO. But that **** would always happen on my MS6. I just threw them back on. They still fasten the same. Unless there is difference in flange thickness?

Well I just ordered all new studs, nuts and bolts.  I am actually pulling my LMS downpipes off and trying to go back to stock.  Ordered all new gaskets and such as well.  I found that the one set of threads on the OEM RH (rear) flex tube (between the cat and the exhaust) were dicked up as well so ordered that too.  Probably end up taking it to an exhaust shop once all the parts come in and have them swap everything.

I have decided that I really don't have the need to have all the aftermarket stuff on the car.  So wanted to go back to stock.  While under the car trying to do so I have also noticed an oil leak on the back (RH) side of the motor.

I also have the Corsa Exhaust that will be coming off but in order to store the stock exhaust I had to cut it in half, lol.  So now that will need to be fixed.

I may run a tune yet but working on getting everything back to stock.

I ended up getting all the studs out by hand, replaced all six.  Did go back to stock downpipes and exhaust.

Figured out the oil leak as well.  The center cylinder on the back side of the motor (#2) has a bad spark plug tube gasket.  It is out of place.  The spark plug tube has filled up with oil and is running down the backside of the valve cover.

Funny this is I had this same exact problem repaired 9 months after I purchased the car.

Ford's fixing it on their dime, I hope!  How long did the previous repair last?  Maybe a new-design valve cover is in order ;)

Car is under full warranty yet.  I think a new valve cover is in order too.  Funny....I filled out the on line request for service at the dealer last week for a bunch of stuff (recalls) and never heard a word back.

Yeah all my studs came out with the nuts. Even with letting pb blaster sit there for awhile.
I Just tightened them all back in there when putting on the new dps.
Wouldn't worry about it too much.

When I put in my new DP's, I had all but one come out, I thought I could just put them in like a bolt since that was how the came out, but be careful if you do actually do this. I noticed most of mine would stop, to the point where I was afraid to tighten it anymore in fear of snapping them off in the turbo and they still were not all the way seated! That's why I ended up going with new hex cap bolts for mine
Just my .02 cents!
