I ignored all the people telling me not to get to powerstop for my 2011 and it was a mistake for sure.  Doesn't take much for them to get hot and you can totally feel it in the pedal.  Next time I'll spend the cash for EBC.
 
I'm VERY happy with my Powerstops.  Sure, you can tell they're getting a workout if you're beating on them but their not a track setup so it's understandable.  You can feel ANY slotted/drilled rotor setup most of the time with heavy use.  Also, those of us with '13+ SHO's cannot get an EBC kit...well at least when I was looking to upgrade they were on a permanent back order from the UK.  Plus you are paying a premium for the EBC...they are fantastic setups but not cheap.

Sorry you had such a bad experience with them.
