When to replace shocks?

I'm just ticking over 50K on my 2010 non-pp and was curious when others are having to replace their shocks?

Also, are the PP shocks a direct replacement or is it a pain to put PP shocks in a non PP?

No clue on PP to Non-PP, but mileage wise I would think they should last closer to 100K, my car only has 14k on it so not sure, but typically shocks and struts last about that long.

I know on the 13+SHO the rear shocks are known to leak and are a weak point  on this platform and are not interchangeable AFAIK and depending where you live the lifespan of the struts/shocks can be limited in severe conditions. Z

I'm at about 125k on the stock shocks on a 2010 mks.  No leaks and the same ride they've always had. 

Replace them when they need to be replaced.
