Bought it cheap?  Trying out how it looks before making it functional?  Just because they can?

Because it's their car and they can do whatever they want to it?
I have been starting a conversion to orange and black on my V, I've already been called an idiot several times by other V owners. As long as I like it, I don't care.

I'm generally not  opinionated about stuff like this, he was driving like a douche that's probably what put me in the mood to post this.

I only hope it is a tasteful, coherent conversion :)

Wheels are done, brake calipers are being done and then the black trim around the windows will be done with orange carbon fiber wrap as well as the center of the hood and a custom front and side splitter setup.

Ah, so the "accents" are orange, I see what the other V owners are cribbing about ... I was thinking more along the lines of what Steve did on his SHO with baked-on plastidip.

Go ahead and call it like you see it. Generally people that put crap like this on their car's drive just like what you saw happen. They stop by Kragen's or Autozone and want to try out there stuck on new found horsepower. Got to "vent" out the new "forced" air on the hood.
Seen this type of garbage way too many times over the years, especially around the time Fast n Furious 1 came on the seen, late 90's/early 2000's.
I still don't understand it either until you see them get out of the car wearing saggy pants and a shirt 3xxx there size, then it starts to make a little more sense.
