Wife curbed my flowers. Options?

Well my wife just curbed my flowers while on vacation and I haven't seen the damage yet. Does anyone know how much one is to replace?  Maybe I'm looking at this wrong and it's the perfect reason for new rims all around.  Gunmetal nuberings?  Anything else new that's sweet???

You'll get over it, we all do eventually.  I think the flowers are the best OEM wheel, wouldn't want anything else.  There are wheel repair places that can make them look like new, worth looking at.  Might cost $150.  I am seeing them on ebay for over $500 for a single wheel!

While wife is away, liquidate her side of the closet.

Use earnings to replace wheel.

Wife learns lesson, your car looks spanking new...win!

You can also do a search for OEM or factory wheels and a handful of companies that specialize in factory wheel wholesale pop up. You're definitely looking at between $400-$500 for a single flower wheel.

On a side-note; It might be a opportunity to have the stock wheels powder-coated. I plan on having my flower wheels powder-coated black chrome over the winter. The whole fact that they call them "flower" wheels annoys the living **** out of me.

I will be selling a set TSW Nurburgrings in Gunmetal w/ Continental DWS tires that have about 7,000 miles on them. Rims do not have any curb rash and I will include the storage bags. Let me know if you are interested.

Me too. I thought they were hot then the first thing my mother said was "ooh I like the flowers on your wheels" and it totally ruined them for me.

What's funny is, there's likely a number of us here who can share this exact story.

Of all things...
The very first moment my mom sees the car, "Oh, I LOVE the flower wheels!"

THANKS, MOM.

just dealt with this a couple of months ago.    Argued and won with insurance company about OEM replacement coverage.    So they paid "list" of over $800 each for the passenger side wheels.    I negotiated 25% discount (i.e. noted to body shop that I can bring them in from outside parts supplier) and used the rest to cover replacing the 2 tires insurance didn't cover.  Overall, my parts savings covered not just the two tires but my $500 deductible as well.    A little work, but well worth it.

It always amazes me that those wheels are so expensive.  As if the flowers aren't bad enough, they put "SHO" on the wheels.  I still remember telling the salesman at the Ford dealership hoe much I hated that the Explorer Sport wheels say "SPORT". It's just so tacky.

Put me in the "I love the flowers camp" ive demo'd wheels online and in Photoshop and I just prefer the flowers. If I could just find replicas that were lighter.....

So let me get this straight, your wife hit a curb with your wheels? You know you're the first person that's ever happened to... You break out your credit card and order a new one with your new downpipes (or whatever mod you want), tell her it coat way more and you've got a free new mod.

I'm afraid that trick has already been burnt enough for her to catch on  :D  Its on the front passenger wheel (just rotated before trip) so I can ignore it for a while.

On the other hand every one has stopped giving me **** for worrying that she would mess it up after she actually did.
