Will this work in a 6th gen SHO?

https://shop.quaife.co.uk/ford-taurus-sho-v6-quaife-atb-helical-lsd-differential

I know this is probably a dumb question and this is probably for a 1st or 2nd gen Taurus but I've got 0 idea. Thought someone here might know?

Tried emailing quaife and even they didn't know if it would work for the 2010+ so my reason guessing it was made for an earlier gen.

Made for 1989 to 1995 SHOs with manual gearboxes.  You can talk with Josh at shonutperformance.com to gain tons of insight.  It did wonders for my 92, along with a lightweight flywheel.

BTW. The SHO is currently 5th gen.  2013+.  4th gen was 2010-12.  Yeah, gets confusing LOL.

Lol thanks xD my bad I'll change it!  And dang that's a bummer! So little drivetrain mods available for the Taurus..  those first gen Taurus look so nice! Such a bummer quaife won't make one for the new Taurus SHOs seen a few videos of people putting lsd's from quaife into their newish focus rs

ya drivetrain mods are the holdback, power is not.

Yup.  I'd be balls deep into a turbo swap@20psi + pipes + 5 gallon mounted trunk meth and 1600ml worth of nozzles if the damn tranny would not spit its guts out on a hard launch.

Besides if the manufacturer doesn't know if it will work in what car...do you really want to trust a company that hasn't done it's R&D work.
I would stay far away from them.

Manu, you read my mind bro.....

I am so happy to see this clarification posted!

Quaife is FAMOUS for sequential gearboxes. If I had the money and time for a good project car I would be put one of their units into it and have a blast.
