Wow! What a gem! Makes me miss my earlier SHO days.
I went and looked at a gen 1 for sale that was impeccable. I just couldn't bring myself to take on what I knew would be a lifelong project of reliving the past. In my mind, those cars were luxurious and crazy fast. Seeing as how I don't find my MKS as overly fast or luxurious, I'm guessing the project would have been a major fail.

Is there a reason that it says 3.7 L twin turbo? I thought the 3.7 was NA and the TT only came with 3.5. The pics show TT but i didnt think they came as 3.7 L.
The 3.7L V6 is simply a bored-out 3.5L V6. The engines are otherwise identical. Importantly, the 3.7L V6 is a Ti-VCT engine. That means Twin independent Variable Cam Timing. Some of the earlier Ford engines had variable valve timing on just the intake side. The 3.5L base engine in the PI Sedan and the 3.7L optional engine have a variable valvetrain with both the intake and exhaust cams. Today. In a VVT (or VCT) engine, the cams are advanced or retarded (independently) depending on engine rpm and throttle position. Yeah not sure how the owner makes these simple mistakes lol.
But it's definitely a Ecoboost, you can see the turbo piping going over the engine.
Just figured I'd post this since there has been a few people looking for motors recently.

Yeah might also be good for a back up tranny and ptu. If all the rims arent warped i feel like thats a really good deal.

Would the 2013 SHO engine, ptu, tranny, and turbos fit my 2010 mks? Thinking about getting this for back up parts for future (Just in case).

I believe it will. There were no major changes expect for it being an interceptor. It will have the PTU cooler and trans cooler on it.salsathe4th said:

Good catch, but even then, as long as the rest are usable, and they have the TPMS sensors it would still be a good deal for me
