13 sec stock turbo Fusion on pump gas!

Finally hit it after working to learn the car most of the season. Car is running really well and now it is becoming more about me learning it. Really happy with what I am getting out of pump gas. Going to start running AcesIV soon and may switch to a 100 octane tune full time once it settles in. Though seeing these times really tempts me to try some methanol injection, i have a port on the cold side just BEGGING for it. Then I would not have to wait for good DA's to run 13s.
!

I fail at getting vids to post here correctly it seems!

Only real change from last trip is stiffening my suspension dampening quite a bit. Still need to swap back to the stock airbox!

URL does not like the https, you have to shorten to http, then it works fine.

Congrats on breaking into the 13's, practice & experience is paying off :thumb:

Well done of achieving your personal goal of breaking into the 13's with your current set up. Part of the challenge fun is breaking a record with a set limitation. Of course a 100 octane tune should break into it easier, but staying in 93 was the self challenge.

Glad to hear you proud and happy for reaching a goal. Congratulations!

For sure, I really wanted to see what you could get with just a street setup! Now it gets interesting. So I can do this on 93.....how far CAN the stock turbo really go. It's tiny but I am learning that I don't think its really been fully pushed yet. 5 more weeks in the season and the DA is dropping. I look forward to the AcesIV doing its magic and switching to the 100 octane tune. There might be a 13.8 in that little K03!

Also still running that CP-E hot air intake, wonder what the stock CAI will net me, should prob order a green filter for the track at least.

Spent a bunch of time on the driver mod tonight, only did marginally better and had some odd issues with my 2nd gear shift once things got to hot. Need to relax on the hot lapping.

Gotta work out a small grocery list of tasks and install a few mods I still have to put in.

Good DAs but super humid, I think that even with a low DA humidity will still kill and it was only going up as the night wore on.

did get to race a new sport though. Video to come!

Thanks for the tips, I did the same in my old Monte Carlo, might do it here too. STILL need to remove the "CAI" and put the stock box back in, green filter arrives today so I will prob do it tonight.

Also a sport showed up a the track last night and he ran me, not sure if he was being kind or just had torque management messing with him he cut a 13.9 and me a 14.0. Video to come!
