agreed.. and no! I would't put the fake Brembo covers on at all!
So what's different about the Brembo covers than these?

I would question that as it would also hold more heat in close to the rotor and pads then..... Is that what we want here?

This guy does whatever he wants to his car and thinks it looks good too.

They attach to the top and bottom of the caliper with a stainless clip and then there is a small nut that attaches the cover to the clips. They don't create any problems, it only takes about 3-4 minutes to install or remove them. It would be hard a mechanic to damage the covers since they are aircraft grade aluminium. My mechanic has never complained about them and he has had to remove them at least 3 different occasions to do the required state inspection.BiGMaC said:shotime99 said:anyone tried these or seen them in person?? thoughts?

All kidding aside. how do they attach. I've just never used caliper covers and don't want to take my wheels off to find this out. Couldn't find install instructions on the website.
What is the standard method used?
Does it create a problem for the mechanics when I get my brakes done? Are they liable to damage them?
Thanks.

And as long as he likes it, what difference does it make to anyone else. It's his car and if that's what he likes, doesn't bother me...however, I can't see me doing anything like that to a vehicle!
