I agree. That was the only place that I saw potential for adjustment. To my knowledge there are no adjustable rubber stops for the rear deck lid, if I am mistaken, I stand corrected. Besides, the entire left side of the trunk sits low, so the entire trunk assembly needs to be adjusted upward. I probably won?t mess with it for a while, because then I?ll have factory painted bolts with etched paint. Lol.
Similar hood and trunk lid alignment issues here as well. I noticed the truck within weeks of buying the car, just noticed the hood recently. Interesting to know that it's a common issue. I will bring it up to Ford and/or my dealer. Kind of ridiculous that the simple task of aligning of body panels is too difficult in 2013.

I can't find adjustment options for trunk; my lid is perfect--it looks like its my light.
I compared the left side bottom to right side bottom and there is clearly more space--I still haven't had chance to remove it. I'll do that this weekend.
I can confirm my lid is perfectly aligned panel wise--example I can run my hand over body and top of trunk and it's completely flushed and lined.

The trunks are adjusted, by make adjustments to the striker. For more detail info on adjusting I just don't have, I have seen pry bars and hammers used often.

I'll try to fix with metal.
For me it's just light at quarter. My trunk is perfect.

Reviving an old thread, just to add, mine shows the same symptoms.
I noticed both before purchasing the car, however.
The hood didn't really worry me.
The driver side lamp assembly made me think the car was in an accident (mine is a CPO). :/
Pretty surprising to see that this is common between all or most of them!

My tailgate doesn't fit right.. .so I don't even wash it any more.. Dirt buildup sorta makes everything look O.K.
Same problem on my 13. Noticed the hood shortly after I bought it. Never paid too much attention to the tail light until just last week. Right after I bought mine however, I noticed the something brushed against the base coat in the door jam prior to the clear being laid. I also found hair in my paint on the lower driver side quarter. That and that lower panel on the rear quarter was crooked. Overall, I think my car has a lot of small, idiotic issues that should not be there. Like the car, not the flaws.
