2014 SHO PP Cold start misfire and erratic idle

Shortly after I posted this video from my phone I started to watch the hour or so of footage from the service department and started to discover how they really treat me and my car.. They had some comments about me, called me a fat *****er and what happened with the raccoon damage and how I drive the car, etc. then proceed to beat on it a little bit at night lastnight.. TBH I am not thrilled and don't know the next step to take with this, Especially considering they took 10 days to replace two injectors..

Granted I beat on it harder but still I paid the price for it.. A test-drive doesn't consist of 3 or 4 WOT to the speed limit runs and then pulling it into the service bay with the engine up to temperature to then remove the coolant tank cap .

The dashcam is a G1W :

Be careful there are some fakes out there, I bought two and one of them was not genuine but couldn't beat it for $20

I bought a hardwire kit for it and my radar detector and found the 12v wire for the sunroof control so they both turn on while engine/accessory mode is on.
Ill post pics of the setup tomorrow; As far as the video goes I will not post it publicly because I may need to keep it private until I speak to ford or the dealership..

SMILE FOR THE CAMERA:

Later on the scum wipes all the dust off the engine bay plastics, his hands and after slamming my hood down makes sure to give the edge of the hood a good rub with the same dirty rag.. Was wondering where all the swirls came from.

I'm furious and I don't know if I should go to a lawyer, dealer or ford first..

That all is no good!  Some rocks are better left unturned :(  We all like to think the world is soft & cozy, but the truth can be brutal.  A lot of people in the service industry who don't have people skills, but great technical skills.  I would remove the pics of this guy for sure, though, until the situation is settled.

Your right on the pics.. Did it out of spite..

I feel for you dude, first bodyshop performed a crappy job based on your post, owing you screws and etc and know this,my dealer always puts a satisfaction survey inside my car to complete and mail out to them, and also have good relations with the dealer cause the G.M always sends me an email to review them on F.B and etc,you can also write a review in dealer rater and also find out more about there sales and service dept, bestn of luck to you.Z.

Have you shown these vids to the dealership GM or owner? .... Better yet emailed them to Ford?

Z is correct about describing all this on the satisfaction survey that Ford will send you...

I just reviewed the email the G.M sent me and it clearly states that,a friendly reminder from the team here at *********ford, lincoln, you will be receiving a manufactures customer satisfaction servey(CSI)within the next 48hrs,we would greatly appreciate if you took a few moments to fill out this survey and return it to them, sincerely G.M AND his phone number, also any issues to assist you further to call him or email him directly.

I have yet to speak to the dealer or ford about it, as far as the surveys go, I get the ones generated by ford corporate. The one that's stuck to my tag in my car wouldn't be useful considering the guy who pulled my car into customer parking removed the entire tag and was bickering the entire time with the a/c on full blast..

As far as the emailed survey I have no problems with my service adviser(That I know of and other than the fact she's a blatant lair so far and has Attention Deficit Disorder) I've been REALLY nice to these people, Yes I may have had some fun in their loaner cars, But I don't bring them back with mud all over them or the tires burned off.. I wouldn't want to hurt others that I'm not totally aware of hurting me yet.. I guess it doesn't matter considering I do not plan on bringing my car back for service there..

If you look at the work order invoice sheet,on top right hand corner is your tag #,that is the # you can use to file a complaint to the chairman of that particular ford dealer if you choose.

Why the GM there should see the videos... then only the parties doing it should get "counseled".  I concur with your feeling not to go back there in any event.

Top down approach is always my tactic. If you start at the highest point then you get answers and things get handled much faster.

I've never had a Ford dealership leave a review forum or anything of that nature. Must be nice to have a dealer that cares. I've only found 1 out of the 5 I've visited to be tolerable.

Next time I take my car to my local dealer I will hide a gopro in the car and sit back for some excillent reality TV.

I think it's more appropriate to begin with the immediate supervision, and to refrain from going beyond that, as first recourse. Give them an opportunity to remediate or rectify the situation in-house.

Of course, if you've already decided you'll never return to them for business, then perhaps another outlet should be considered, above the dealership.

I've come to that conclusion because they look at me like i'm crazy for doing research on a problem or noise prior to visiting the dealer and know they need to perform or look into a certain tsb it took 8 trips to this dealer to resolve the hub clicking noise. I was told that every Taurus does it and im crazy.. Then this happens..

If they're talking that rudely about you and your concerns for your car....they should not be trusted to touch your car again. This would drive me crazy btw

BRB...going to go buy a dashcam.

But just out of curiosity, what law is being broken by a quick after hours troubleshooting spin?
What harm or damage was done?

My car insurance doesn't cover a dealer wrecking my car esp after hours,  their insurance covering the tech ends after hours. So if he totaled my car it would be on his hands and i would be out interest and gap on my loan and such. Its the liability thats the issue.

If you watch the video he digs into it a little bit I doubt WOT up to 20+ passed the speed limit is ok for a test drive?(Edit: Granted I see it would fit considering that would mimic my driving but eh, still)

I do kinda agree that its kinda extravagant to hire a lawyer in this case but idk what i'm going to do if ford or the dealer doesn't do anything about it; I would like an extended warranty cause I don't know if they were abusing it before I put the camera on, I would have issues after taking it to the dealer every time it seemed like and I would put more miles on the car traveling to another stealership..

Funny enough my dealers GM owns a black 2013 SHO. Figured the service department would be full fledged on fixing every little issue I have..
