Those are some sick looking wheels. Love em. BUT, forgive the offense here, but you have a 5000 lb ecobeast car. The wheel/tire setup makes it look like a cheap kid with a rice burner car who does this to make his car look fast. Your car actually is fast. Also, while you have another set of wheels when you feel the urge to drop the hammer, who has time to go home and change wheels? For me, my car is setup to run at all times. I don't have to worry about a winter tire setup to preserve the wheels, so my summer performance Hankook tires do the job just fine. I can rocket against any car, any time. And at the next light go into a low rider cruise. With no take aways. Just my opinion.

I run 275/40-20 on my car. According to GPS it actually corrected the speedo and now they match. And since I log my mileage for EVERY fill up and service, I am assured that my mileage is spot on.

Dx your speed matches because thats a perfect alternate size to oem

Exactly. And as I recall its roughly 1/2 inch wider so a bigger footprint. The OP's car looks good with those wheels. I just would have a smaller width.

Definitely looks great on there Zach, especially with the Megan coilovers adding to the finishing touch, the only gripe is the 10 1/2 inch rims being a bit to wide and ultimately is not a safety concern, think the 9 1/2 would of been a more appropriate size considering the wheel combination, otherwise its probably the best setup i've seen in a while IMHO,forgive my Ocd,Lol.  Z  :thumb: :thumb:

A tire "stretch" is a safety concern...they have unseated the bead during hard cornering and bumps...they a blowout happens and there is nothing wrong with the tire

That's the thing, I am sure Zach will take care with his setup, he definitely pushes boundaries :) just don't want him or his SHO suffering any damage from this, that's all.  Other than that, time will tell!

Looks great to me, I would probably have gone 275/40 if they would fit as well as I'm old and I like a big fat tire. :)
As long as you like it OP then it's all good.

That's the main goal here is to see how far you can push the limits and still function. I think my car currently sits roughly 3-4 inches lower then stock with the 20x10.5 all the way around and so far with the new setup i am not having and rubbing issues front or rear and I still have full turning radius. And when i refer to driving my car hard i am talking about taking it to the strip or the track. I can still launch my car hard from a light or get on it when ever i want it would be pointless if i couldn't.
