AJP E30 SHO Results

Hi, Everyone!

  I went to the track last night to see what the gains were from the Downpipes and E30 tune. The car ran consistently, times are below. The car runs so sweet. I really think I could get that 7.99 in some negative DA. Although, DA was pretty low here last night, around 900.

8.02 @ 86
8.05 @ 85
8.04 @ 86

60' was 1.7X all night.

GREAT JOB to AJP Turbo, he is amazing. The car runs so smooth now. My transmission is so happy now too!! If he has the opening and you are wanting to try him out, I will say I 100% recommend him and back his tunes. Amazing!!

Considering your tune has shifting torque reductions being used as well as throttle control id say thats a success and its not an “all out” type tune

Yes, AJP, my car is in love with you. You've done an incredible job. I bet I could get that 7.99. It's gonna happen! I really can't recommend you enough and I am truly thankful I got added to the list of AJP Tuned Ecobeast!!

also, note the crappy GoodYear RSA's and that 1.7x 60ft... I bet if I got some decent wheels and tires, maybe some suspension, and we would have those 7's!

Even worse was I got lined up against a Honda (car had slicks, drag wing, looked proper, came on a flatbed) and they made me run ProTree with him. =( Sad thing is I got a .700 RT on a .400 light ROFL I was like BAD AT TREE! I really was more focused on getting that 7.99 than anything. SO SO CLOSE! time to get rid of the front and back seats hahaha

+1 for AJP tuning! My SHO is loving the ‘93 tune. It’s a blast.

I see a few different H&R springs for our cars. 1.4/1.5 1.5 and race coils. Which do you suggest? Hmm, this may need a new topic, or me to go search through this amazing forum to see if my questions have already been answered. I know of one SHO in this area that is quicker than me at this point. He ran 7.9X once. He is tuned by those that shall not be mentioned.

He's a magician that's for sure! He has it running so smooth and with the torque management and stuff he uses, or doesn't remove I should say, to me says the car will last that much longer. Hmm, no DPs and getting same times as me? I wonder if you have just amazing fuel and he was able to add more spark, or if I need a driver mod... although there isn't much "driver mod" one can be with these cars.

So far my best has been a 12.43 @110 with a 1.795 60ft.. just the tune and drop in filter

I'm starting to think downpipes dont do **** lol.  I have the $957 PPe catted downpipes and I dont think I am getting the results from them that are claimed.  I know Brad has taken advantage of them in my tune but notice others with no downpipes and better times.  I think the track I go to sucks hah.

12 = 93 octane and 4.4 = e85 the mixture you guys use for e30?

You run it year around and any extra maintenance that needs to be done runnign e30?

It depends on the e content you are getting out of the pump. I wait till light comes on the put 5.25 gallons e to 9.75 93

My e is 70% in winter, never checked summer, I run e 30 year round. Dump in some marvel mystery oil every couple tanks. A full tank fill up ends up costing me about 5$ less than a 93 fill up also. More power, less money= no brainer

Not that it is bad stuff at all but what is your reason for Marvel Mystery oil ?
