Antifreeze?

Well I changed my thermostat in my Ex sport today and noticed we now run orange coolant. It looks like anything that meets Ford spec WSS-M97B44-D or D2 will be good. I do have some other than Motorcraft antifreeze that meets that spec so I'll probably use it. It's Peak global lifetime.

I would wonder if you could mix the two types of antifreeze?

Not a good idea to mix 2 different kinds of antifreeze. It says on the bottle not to do that. it has to do with all the dissimilar metal's in the motor.
Not sure what they mean by lifetime antifreeze though.

I think if it meets Ford spec WSS-M97B44-D2 it's good.

For what it's worth the peak antifreeze technical support people told me it was perfectly ok to mix their global lifetime or long life in my orange antifreeze factory filled 13 Explorer. They said it's the same formula.
