Besides ANY HP gain from the Open Exhaust Will be Welcome..!

Ive thought of this as well.  I was looking into a boost activated cutout.  Brand name SP I think it was.  So like a boost gauge set up.  The cutout has a Watergate on it.  I think you can do like 7psi rated spring to open the cutout.  No electric motor to poop on itself.  I was on the fence about it bc of boost spikes.  I'm sure it can/would all workout fine with some data logging and tune.  I just didnt go for it at the time.

Someone has one, I forget who but they put some money into it, it looks awesome.  I believe it was two cutout off the downpipes worked in with an xpipe.

Someone knows who it is.  Or maybe that someone can chime in.  You can get power from this mod.  Not sure how much.  I remember someone stating .2 off thier quarter mile time.  Actually..i think it was EcoPower Parts Mike.

I used to run a electronic cutout on my Srt-4 for years. It worked rather well and was not boost activated. I place it right at the bottom of the 3 inch down pipe and had a switch in the car to open it. It worked well but I eventually switched to full exhaust. Being a young punk back then I wanted everyone to hear me all the time. I’m guessing it would work pretty well on the SHO if you placed it right after the downpipes. Basically getting rid of any restrictions the stock cat back may cause.

Check out this video.  Not sure what type of car.  Assuming single turbo.  Check out how much power from this one cheap mod!!

Mike at EPP ran the boost activated cutout on his flex. Believe they did some with that special x pipe cutout too. Mike recommended them highly. And I believe they have another spring you can swap so it activates at like 10 psi.

I bought that cutout along with his flex downpipes many years ago. I think it is the only one in existence.

IMHO, it is an automotive work of art. Almost a shame to put it on the bottom of the car. Too expensive for garage art, lol.

I should probably use it or sell it.

Would you be so kind as to share a pic of it?

If you ever feel like selling it, let me know. I have been waiting for it for over a year now. Lol. Just make your decision around March so I can tell the wife it is a birthday present for myself.

I have electric cutouts and I love them. Keeps the car factory quiet or really loud depending on your mood. I placed mine after an x Pipe right after my catless downpipes, removed the 3rd cat and muffler to make space. Then I programmed the remote control to the garage opener and that's that.

I have LoudValves boost activated cut outs that are installed just after the X portion of my Corsa exhaust. I have them on a manual boost controller set to 8psi. They do rattle at about 2500rpm but what cutouts don't lol. I have had no concerns with them so far and have been on for 2 years. Sorry not able to post from my phone to this web sight for pictures and video.

What error are you getting, Tim, posting pics & vids?  If they are not too large, they should upload just fine, tho longer videos are suggested to be hosted elsewhere.
