Anyone use this? My SHO spends a lot of time in the garage and gets dusty.... wonder if it’s worth it? Does it leave swirls?
TIA!

i agree with mike. i take my sho to lots of shows & very rarely see them used anymore. the one that really bothers me is one of our club members has new version boss 302 leguna seca, real rare gray with orange trim & he uses one & does his whole car never shaking it out. almost hurts me to watch but he's a know it all so i have to hold my tongue.bpd1151 said:I used to see these dusters being used often at various car shows over the years.
Especially when they were all the rage/craze when they 1st came out.
But most of those very same owners I heard from later on, said that they were NOT using them any longer, due to the resulting damage done to their finishes.
Now I can't readily say if that was due to user error, or the product itself. Suffice to say that nowadays, I very rarely see them in use.
Make your own deduction based upon that.

When it is new, it should be set aside to DRY for a couple of days or so. Otherwise, it could leave "wax" marks on the car. Secondly, one should use a LIGHT touch when dusting....with just the tips touching the surface. Thirdly, shake it frequently to rid it of the dust that was picked up. Last, only use it for DUST or POLLEN....NOT for DIRT.
As I said before, I only use it when my cars are freshly waxed and slick. I have had no ill effects but I am neither recommending it nor am I saying it is the devil in disguise.
