Can anyone fab up a "noise maker" delete?

I know I have read that someone on the forums has successfully deleted the "noise maker" on their SHO by capping off the opening by the TB. I think this would also give us a good location to mount a methanol nozzle. It seems as though a lot of us are going the methanol route, and would make sense that a company could profit from putting this piece into production. Anyone out there with the pull that might be able to put this in motion?

*Edit* Ive found the part that ford uses on the flex and mks. MSRP is $160, but even at that high I doubt anyone would make a piece. It looks as though 4dr will have a solution selling a single piece from a hotpipe kit. Pic attached.

I thought about that but they can be made (i would think) to be recessed a bit, so the nozzle is more in the intake stream. Im taking the car to a local fabricator sometime this week.

Disassembled pics coming later in the hot pipe installation post I'll make…. got them on yesterday…. Hotpipes from Mike delete the noisemaker by default… looks smooth

I can sell just the Intercooler to throttle body pipe with MAP sensor mount.
Would you like the option just to buy that?

That would 100 percent solve my issue... Lol. I've been looking at your hot pipe kit and trying to figure out what my long term goals are. It will be a long time before I see BT though. What kind of pricing are you thinking@

Let me find out for you. I think I've done one before just need to find the email.

So what is the noise maker pipe? What is the point of the pipe?

I might be interested in the one section of hot pipe as well.

Ditto.

So the MKS part from the dealer that deletes the noisemaker is $160? Do you have the part number?

I'd be interested too Mike, depending on price point.....

Exactly what "noises" does the factory piece eliminate?
Its just a resonator of sorts…. To my ear it took away a raspy engine noise. Total volume at idle/cruising (can't here the engine) or WOT didn't change appreciably, just the engine sound from under the hood.

This is what the OEM  " noisemaker " looks like . It is mounted on the left side of the engine or passenger side .

so it takes away a raspy engine sound ? so does the engine sound better, louder, or just different w/o it ?

I like it better… inside the car at least.. sound is is smoother and maybe a little deeper. Of course everyone hears things a little differently and preferences vary too.

I haven't had anyone to rev it up or drive it by me… and the thing is on the high pressure side of the front turbo.. so the best check is with it driving asking for torque so turbos spool up and blow through the noisemaker… or don't after deletion.
