Free bump! Do you happen to know the part # for the Airaid coupler you orderd ? Thanks. Z

I don't off the top of my head but I'll see if it says on the package. If you need it, its yours - I may even still have your address from the BOV caps :D

One more BOV pic. If someone wants pieces of the hot pipe kit and doesn’t want the pipe with BOV/boost reg mod I’m open to that as well...since the Tial Q 50mm and mvs 38mm would be perfect for a turbo 351 in my fox when I’m ready for that 😂
Would you sell just that piece?

Looking for the AJP regulator mod.

No part number on it, and looks like they source them rather than make them in house, based on markings on the package. I can get size measurements, or if you need it just let me know and I'll send it your way.

I'd be willing to sell it by itself, but it would be kinda pricey cause that one piece has basically all the expensive stuff on it (wastegate mod and BOV). Shoot me a price you think is fair, and we can go from there.

I thought Crash signed all his gauge pods?

Since I was the sole person who repeatedly pestered him into making one for me, and then encouraged him to make more as I knew others were interested......

I also playfully suggested he autograph each of them, as I figured (at that time) his pods would grow in popularity and become in demand.

Chris laughed at me, said I was a fool. But I was relentless. As such, he did sign mine. #2 of all of them made. Right smack dab after his 1st one he fab'd for his SHO.

R.I.P. my friend. You are still very much missed.

I know mine is signed and is #4....

how were the downpipes modified? any pics?

I'll try and get pics of downpipes this evening. Only thing they have is an additional bung on each side for a wideband o2. Other than that, just painted with high heat black.

What would a fair price on the stock cats be? Would these be the full cat assemblies? I know each "downpipe" is 2-piece.

I've got an offer pending on just the cats, without the downpipe assembly portion, currently. I have the complete assemblies though. Cat portion and just the pipe portion. Do you need the cats themselves (sale pending) or just the pipe portion?

Thanks,

The below are still available. Pics are sprinkled throughout the thread.

- EPP Hot Pipes, purchased unfinished and with TiAL BOV, and modified to add an AJP boost regulator mod, with all aluminum piping. New Tial wastegate, custom fab for the regulator mod. I have about $1200 into the setup, and the pipes were painted black with it all said and done. I would likely ask around $1k for it as is. Mileage is ~6k or less, went on the car at 10-12k (IDK exactly) and the car had under 16k when we parted ways.

-Stainless works catless downpipes, I purchased these from AJP, and they were brand new at the time, SW had send him the set new, with proper fitment modification for the PP SHO O2 sensors. O2 sensors are included, IIRC fronts and rears (<16k miles on sensors, they were the stock ones for my car). They are painted with high temp flat black paint as well. I would like $700 for these as it sits, mileage on them is identical to that of the hot pipes, so somewhere in the 6k or less range.

-Airaid Intake, with temp sensor still installed. Unsure on mileage as I got it used from AJP, but I put ~8k on it. Filter still looks brand new. $200 obo for it.

-170 reische T-stat, with 5k miles or less on it. Got it brand new from lethal. $40 obo or would for sure trade for one that fits the Eco F150...

-3 bar MAP sensor, got it used, added ~8k miles to it. $40 obo.

-Lamin-X taillight tint. Not the darkest one, I believe its one or two steps from darkest. New, never installed, and has extra sheets of their tint film to cut to make the reflector tint portion (the ones they originally sent had garbage fitment). $40 obo

- I also have stock cats, that had 15k when removed. If anyone needs them they're best offer.

Cash is king, but also will trade for 2016 F150 eco parts, 99-04 mustang parts, or foxbody mustang parts.

On the downpipes, is the O2 sensor location going to be different between the performance pack SHO and the MKS Ecoboost?  Sorry if that's a dumb question, I just can't remember all the different permutations of O2 sensor locations that the different downpipe makes have used, lol.

So my son says to ask why the modified Hot pipes. (wastegates) Did you add aftermarket turbos? And would they still function on a stock set-up ?  May be interested in them if they work.

The board has been kinda slow the past couple days so maybe I can help.  I believe this is for the boost regulation mod that AJP Turbo created.  Essentially it uses a wastegate to vent off excess boost pressure that spikes during transmission shifts.  From the factory the motor uses the throttle body to regulate that boost spike, by closing partially.  AJP's mod allows the throttle body to stay 100% open.  Search the forum for "AJP boost regulator mod" and I'm sure there is a much better write up than what I just spelled out, lol.

Agentlongwood is correct, the EPP hotpipes without modification are more of a safety net, rather than a performance mod, as I was running 15.5-16psi boost all the time, and didn't trust that I wouldn't crack the stock plastic tubing. The aluminum hot pipes offered a safer way to get air into the engine, as well as looking better, and allowing me to use the TiAL BoV (again, not really for a "performance gain" more for my own pleasure, and ease of setup). The Wastegate regulator mod, was added so that the throttle could be kept at wide open, rather than slamming shut during shifts. OEM strategy is to shut the throttle to keep from having boost spikes on a shift, with the wastegate instead, the boost spike was controlled via the wastegate, and throttle could remain fully open during 1/4 mile pulls. I ran stock turbos, the setup would work with stock and aftermarket turbos just fine.

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for this. My set has additional bungs for a wide band O2 (non ford) to use with an AFR gauge, which MAY be helpful...however, I have no clue what the MKS pipes look like. If the overall shape is the same, but bungs are in the wrong spot, you could potentially get some bungs and weld in to the new locations but I really don't know.

FYI- If you're concerned about the location of the Front 02 sensor bung you can always purchase an O2 extender cable IIRC!  Z
