**CANCELLED*****ATTENTION*** Tail of the Dragon Get Together

We can meet at 8:00 am at 7600 Kingston pike, Knoxville tn 37919. It is West Town Mall. Easy to find, close to E85 fuel, and about an hour from the entrance of the dragon.
 
If this is a day trip and I'm not stuck working out of town. I'd love to attend!!!! Currently living in Cincinnati, OH. So its not too far of a haul, might be able to meet up with some other owners on the way down.

Hate saying it now, but I have a feeling I will be asking someone with the LMS 4+ tune for a quick spin... been debating it for a while but want to see/feel for myself the difference (i'm still under warranty, don't know if i want to just let it go like that...)

I guess it could be a day trip, or a weekend trip.  I live an hour away, so I can be there whenever.  I am just planning on it being a 1 day thing, but I can add a day on without any big change in my schedule.  I have the LMS stage 4+X tune on mine, I don't mind taking you for a spin..... I had to put it back to stock last night to take it to the dealership for some warranty work, and driving it today felt like I was pulling a boat and trailer.... so slow, and slow shifts, and weird factory shift points.... night and day.
 
Yeah thats what i'm reading a lot of. Yeah, I'd really appreciate a spin! Been thinking on the Tuner and a CAT Back/Exhaust Mods primarily. Don't know if i want to go as far as the thermostat, 3 BAR, or Plugs just yet...

I'd be looking to make just a day trip out of it most likely. I've got a buddy or 2 who were talking about joining for the cruise (unfortunately not SHO owners... haha)

Should be a fun trip! I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
 
Not gonna make it, my plan was to make a mini vacation and stay in Fontana Village, I really like it there but the place is booked solid that weekend, not a single cabin or lodge room available for that weekend.

Is there a place to stay in Maryville tn? That is about 20 min from the entrance of the gap
 
@SHO-TYM - We can take you for a ride.  I have a black 2010 with LMS 4+ (over 60K miles now!) and LOVE IT!  I am also getting consistent 24-25MPG while driving 85MPH on the highway everyday.

I have a 2011 with LMS 4+X. Peppelepugh was the one looking to get a ride with someone with a higher tune than stock. :-) I couldn't drive this car stock ever again after driving it with the 4+x tune that Anthony made at LMS.

Can't wait! Glad to see someone else on board! Fair warning..... all passengers should take motion sickness medicine before participating.... this road makes strong stomach people get so green they can't see straight.....

Also coming from 1 hour north of detroit. I'm still trying to convince the woman of this trip. It's her bday that weekend and I might struggle convincing her, as it's her time.

Everyone from up  North should meet up and roll in a horsepower convoy! Lol
 
Soooooo things are up in the air for me now.... Homecomming weekend is that weekend. GF wants to go bad and I wouldn't mind seeing some of my old buddies from school. So I'll be keeping a close eye on the thread and in touch of course..... DAMN!

dang.... gonna miss a great trip and experience for some football?? lol... jk man, I hope you change your mind and come check out the dragon.  It's gonna be a good trip
