I don't know where to start but it was a pleasure meeting up with Manu (SHOdded) once again and awesome to have enthusiasts like him representing the ecoboost platform/community.  :)

I guess with the final Track days looming while trying to get the Redhead prepared by having the the PTU Fluid flushed-Spark plugs and brand new 02 sensors installed as many of you are aware of...
.
I was unfortunately frustrated and only was able get TWO runs in while noticing on my 2nd run that there was much wheel hop upon launching and something must be a miss while suggesting its the PTU which the Ford dealer recently screwed up AFAIK!

FWIW I do have a PB of 1.752 60' time prior to having the PTU Flush performed and just lost for words @ the moment as my Quest for the elusive 11's has come to a screeching Halt for the time being! :(

Time slip below with a Trap Speed of almost 116 mph and was able to gain a kill @ least against a new 5.0 Stang once again.  Z

It was a better outing than last time in that there were less sonic booms and we could actually converse LOL.  Also saw a few VERY fast cars run the strip, but unfortunately the times were blacked out.  One Fox body must have been deep into the 8's maybe even in the 7's.  A couple of trucks rolling some coal LOL.

Getting back to the SHO.  The first time around was an exercise in patience.  Z was in line for over an hour before finally getting a chance to let Red run free.  I dont think he was able to avoid the waterbox on that one ...  But no issues perceived otherwise, just an abundance of caution.

The second time around though, neither he nor I heard the tires chirp like they should on a good launch.  The crazy wheel hop tho ...  If it wasn't one thing it was another.

You could see though Red has it in her to easily break into the 11's as outfitted.  Cryin shame it did not happen today, but doesn't change the fact this is one potent missile!

Well Z you measure the size of your accomplishment by the obstacles you have to overcome to reach your goals. The positive is you laid down some serious mph. There is definetly a very low 12 high 11 in that mph. That’s really stinks about the ptu I hope all turns out well.

Your trap speed says it all.  It's proof you're pushing some serious power and proves you are capable of a breaking the 11 barrier.  Something about that 60ft was clearly off.  It's a shame you were only able to get two runs in!  Some of my PB were had by second to last run out of 5 or 6 runs.

I agree the PTU issue could be the culprit.  Its the first thing that comes to mind.  I wasn't there but if you went through the water box as well...certainly doesn't help and it sounded like that was unavoidable.
Spark plugs and O2 sensors...no way.

Track prep perhaps?  I think when track prep is off even a little it really affects our street tires.  Something that even the really fast cars with drags and slicks don't get affected by much.  When I ran my best time and 60ft i was literally the first one down the track in the right lane for the start of the day.  Track prep was perfect for my tires.

I'm glad you were able to still leave on a positive, meeting with with Shodded...its a lot of fun to meet up with another member and friend.  When it works out to meet up with Tim (ShoNoff) it's always more fun.

That MPH can be an 11 all day long. I mean you have half a second to gain in the 60 foot once you figure out what's up with it!

Also usually whatever you gain in the 60 foot clock you can almost double out the back door. Meaning you gain a tenth in 60 it’s almost good for 2 tenths in the quarter. So with a mid 1.7 60 foot you are knocking on 11.8-11.9. Also I saw you said you had to go through water box. Is it possible the tires got wet and spun? That could be the reason for no squeal leaving the line.

802Sho is right it’s always more fun to meet up with members. It makes the day much ore enjoyable when there is a couple of you getting after it.

I have owned Red since 2 miles on the OD but saw something was wrong and didn't want to add insult to injury since I'm out of ESP warranty and hopefully will able to troubleshoot this underlying issue once and for all..

I think on my first run I managed to hit the water box with the driver's side front tire IIRC due to a burnout from the guy in front. ..

I also noticed that the Advance track feature did not come on after excess of 100 mph of Dunno!
Thanks again for the kind words Fellas. Z

Thanks again Fellas. Z

Z I can tell you this. I once got my right side tires in the water. When I left I thought I broke everything in the drivetrain. The right front spun so hard I felt like no other tires were driving the vehicle.

I never run my car with advance trac on so I can’t say if mine does or doesn’t come on going down the track.

I was finally able to upload a video due to my bad back which tells me more.... I think Track Prep played a major role, factor while getting sprayed upon!!! These mustangs like to play f*****  dirty! Thanks for the replies. Z

My light has never come on but I have experienced the same exact things in that thread. That’s basically the bogging issue I’m having. When I launch hard it feels like he car just shuts down. I’m starting to think advancetrak hates drag racing lol

After seeing the video it’s the exact problem I’m having right around the same spot. You can see the wheel hop from the camera at the 1-2 shift. Also that camera is pretty sweet what were you using?

I just picked it up recently and still need to calibrate it a bit.
Great basic dash cam without having to break the bank.
BTW I think it's 10% off . Z  :)

Nice runs Z.  It was defiently getting after it the on the big end.  Are you full weight as well?
I guess Im your average 220 lbs Joe! Thanks bud. Z
From what it seems track prep and you possibly getting a tire or two in the water box can equate to this, definitely has the potential for 11s thats for sure!

My 13 PP at full weight (full interior ect) with a 1/4 tank and me (240 lbs) in it weighed 4560 on scale at the track. So roughly 4320 as she sat.
