CODE B1215

I have been having a Code B1215 for a couple of years now and tried troubleshooting the issue but to no avail,but since it was a (Body Code) did not worry to much but certainly it was annoying like having two wife's.LOL.

I could not find a Definitive answer to Code B1215 which was very limited only to
Running Board Lamp Circuit Short to Battery.

I can finally confirm that after replacing my faulty rear License plate assembly which one side was completely Toast it indeed resolved my issue and below is the part number if anyone is interested and hope it helps someone out in the very near future.  Z 
BTW did have the license plate lamp assembly recall performed couple of yrs ago.

Here is a quick [update] and found the other side of the license lamp assembly slowly starting to burn out and should of known better to replace them in pairs. :banghead:
I ordered another lamp assembly along with a pair of license lamp bulbs to give it a brighter appeal and went with the SYLVANIA ZEVO 6418 36mm Festoon white LED Bulbs from Amazon for 7.34 ea and was quite happy with the overall quality of the bulbs which were a perfect fit and are rated at 6000K. The backup/reverse bulbs are PHILIPS 921LED bulbs from www.rockauto.com which were 7.86 ea. and both bulbs are rated at 6000K. Z
