I love Ford Tech Makuloco vids.... But I wonder if that is really his name... Make You Loco, LOL.
Hah!  Good one.  We do owe him a debt for putting out all the info he has.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find where the EVAP Purge Valve is located on a 2010 Taurus SHO?  (picture would be appreciated)

I have these 2 codes (P2196 & P2198).  I also sometimes get P1450 and extended crank time after a filling up with gas.  All of which point to an issue with the EVAP system.

Luckily, iHeartGroceries has an illustrated pic in his Spark Plug Replacement HOWTO here:

To quote:
To begin, you'll have to displace the EVAP/purge apparatus, which is plumbed into the valve cover. This is on the passenger side cylinder (forgive me, as I am not sure how the cylinders are numbered). It is fastened to the valve. cover with three 8mm bolts. They are circled in red. The front two come easy. For the rear, it is buried under the wire harness. You will have to push the harness aside, in order to get to this one. It may be a little stubborn, as the harness is anchored on this valve cover vent apparatus.

I would also check the purge valve solenoid which is located by the manifold,it sounds like you have a closed CVS (CANISTER VENT SOLENOID)Stuck closed based on the code P1450,pics below and hope this helps any.  Z    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6dsQoq73aE    That faulty CVS is causing your slow fill up,its a common part that fails quite so often.  Z

Negative.  I replaced the entire canister but still have the issue.  I think there is another purge valve somewhere but cannot locate.

There is a solenoid next to the canister, and there is a purge valve in the engine compartment in the valley.

Can you confirm the part number for the EVAP Purge Valve as 7U5Z-9C915-D?
It looks like thats the correct part but would verify fitment by typing in your vin number and also need to verify the build date(job number) for that particular year.  www.fordparts.com.  heres the link to the part 9C915 Purge valve solenoid.    http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?  n=zzt0TZCKz0i1wvaHCSOWRg%3d%3d&id=349778073&m=2&search=true&year=2010&make=Ford&model=Taurus      9C915 on Diagram.

For some reason it is listed on the site as suitable for 3.5L w/o Turbo, yet suited for the SHO.  Can be confusing, but I believe it to be the correct part.
